HackHub - Ultimate Hacker Simulator changes
New Stuff
Chat improvements: all pinned messages listed at once, pins and reply quotes jump to the message wherever it is in history, and a "Jump to present" button when you have scrolled away.
Repository readmes are rendered properly again: headings, bold, lists, tables and code blocks all work, and banner art keeps its shape instead of collapsing into a smear.
Readmes are also found as [c]readme.md[/c], not just [c]readme.txt[/c].
Certificates, decoders and loot copied onto a box you rent now work from that box, so [c]openvpn[/c], [c]authkey[/c], [c]appraise[/c] and [c]decode[/c] all run there. Selling and laundering still need the original on your own machine.
If a copy no longer matches the original, the tool now tells you to copy it across again instead of just refusing it.
When the game cannot reach our servers, it now tells you the address is being blocked on your own network and names what usually causes it, instead of saying you are not signed in.
Fixes
Performance improvements on macOS.
A large amount of the game's text was showing in English whatever language you play in: the Network Monitor, the Log Viewer, the Document Viewer, most of chat, and parts of GoMail and Settings. All of it is translated now.
A mod could read files outside its own folder on your computer.
Mods and player-written content can no longer reach out to anything outside the game.
Sign-in failures all gave the same message, so nothing you tried ever matched the actual problem. They are told apart now.
Chat fixes: messages arriving while you read older history are no longer dropped or misplaced, a failed history load no longer wipes the transcript, and sending while parked in history brings you back to the present.
