removedNew StuffThe GreyMarket floor is paged now, 20 offers at a time, with a prev/next pager and a running count of everything that matches. Searching, sorting and paging happen server side, so a floor carrying thousands of offers no longer bogs the page down.
changedNew StuffThe sell dialog warns you when your ask is above what the market's auto-buyers actually watch for. It names the price they bite at, how far under face value that is, and what a later clearance would really pay you if you hold out.
changedNew StuffFTP the same way, from File Gorilla or the terminal, into your own rented server or someone else's.
fixedFixesLoot pulled off a breached operator's desktop is finally yours. You were getting the file without the item behind it, so the package could not be appraised, decoded, used or sold, and stolen keys and decoders were swept off your disk again. Applies to dragging it home and to [c]cp[/c].
addedFixesTrash showed up twice on a managed server, once as a plain folder and once as the real bin, and the next delete kept building new ones.
removedFixes"Open Terminal Here" on a hacked host, a mounted server or an FTP target handed you a local terminal rooted in their filesystem, which let you run your own tools on the box and read files the session had no right to. It is disabled on remote trees now.

New Stuff

  • The GreyMarket floor is paged now, 20 offers at a time, with a prev/next pager and a running count of everything that matches. Searching, sorting and paging happen server side, so a floor carrying thousands of offers no longer bogs the page down.

  • A sort dropdown next to the search box: newest, oldest, cheapest, dearest and the rest. The column headers still work the same way.

  • The sell dialog warns you when your ask is above what the market's auto-buyers actually watch for. It names the price they bite at, how far under face value that is, and what a later clearance would really pay you if you hold out.

  • SSH into a box another operator rents, using the login they handed you. Access lasts for the session.

  • FTP the same way, from File Gorilla or the terminal, into your own rented server or someone else's.

  • The [c]ftp[/c] command reaches real hosts now. It used to see nothing but singleplayer quest targets.

Fixes

  • Loot pulled off a breached operator's desktop is finally yours. You were getting the file without the item behind it, so the package could not be appraised, decoded, used or sold, and stolen keys and decoders were swept off your disk again. Applies to dragging it home and to [c]cp[/c].

  • Trash showed up twice on a managed server, once as a plain folder and once as the real bin, and the next delete kept building new ones.

  • "Open Terminal Here" on a hacked host, a mounted server or an FTP target handed you a local terminal rooted in their filesystem, which let you run your own tools on the box and read files the session had no right to. It is disabled on remote trees now.

  • Mods were bleeding into multiplayer, where they are supposed to be off: mod terminal commands, handbook articles, menu entries, desktop widgets, context menu items, and quest posts turning up in the feed.

  • Sites reached with a www prefix could not be bookmarked, and the bookmark button showed the wrong state on them.

  • [c]lynx[/c] lookups in Annoying Neighbors, Cryptographer Hunt and Database Theft only counted if you typed the name with exactly the right capitalisation and no stray spaces.

  • Cyber Justice could not be started at all. Reading the trending post was step one, but it only registered if you were already logged into your own Twotter, which is step five.

  • The trading floor scrolls inside the board now, instead of the whole site sliding away in the browser pane and taking the toolbar and column headers with it.

  • Board columns drifted out from under the header while scrolling, rows could come up blank, and turning a page dropped you halfway down the new one or snapped you straight back to the old one.
