Intro
If you’ve been eagerly awaiting new toys to play with, or you’re just struggling to get your 1st victory, this update has something for everyone. But first a note on the current roadmap:
There was originally going to be a few more weapons, Symbionics, and utilities in this update. They’re still coming, but I’m going to roll them into the 1.0 update.
In fact, I’ll be rolling all remaining updates into a final 1.0 update. There are no changes in planned content, it will just be easier for me to finish everything at once, instead of in staged releases. And I think it will make for a more exciting 1.0 launch with a lot more new content to discover. There will be a couple beta test updates once most of the final content has been added though, but things will go quiet for the next few weeks.
Finally, Gunlocked 2 now qualifies for Steam Community Items, so this patch brings some extra content in that regard. Trading Card junkies rejoice!

Added 4 new weapons and symbionics
The Linecook: A fiery version of the original's Electroline, with a bit more oomph

Backdraft: Returning as a weapon, but with some enhancements to functionality

Steam Community Items are now available. Earn badges, emotes, trading cards, and backgrounds.

Added a shake effect to critical strike damage popups
Balance
Enemies: Tier 2 and 3 bosses have slightly less health
- EnemiesThe majority of basic enemies have had their base health slightly reduced. Standard asteroids now have 124 health, down from 150.
- EnemiesThe majority of basic enemies have had their collision damage reduced from 10 to 8 (the smallest enemies already had less than this)
Anomalies: To account for these reductions, the anomaly “Thick” now grants enemies +14% bonus health, up from +10%. Any players that enjoy the harder difficulty will still have it.
Weapons: Bombikaze base damage is now 124, up from 100.
Utilities: The Firelight utility has been unbanned. Now grants a base amount of crit damage, has a higher maximum bonus, and is common, down from uncommon.
Utilities: Critical Edge is now uncommon, down from rare
Utilities: Lucky Sever is now uncommon, down from rare
Utilities: Lucky Sever now applies to all upgrades, not just weapons
Utilities: Focalizer now grants +8% crit chance to lasers, up from 5%
Bug Fixes
Turbo: The full TURBO bonus powers will now properly activate again in Turbo mode.
Leaderboards: Should no longer freeze if you are unable to retrieve scores from Steam servers when updating
UI: The codex entry for Gamma Gatling is now correct
UI: The utility Afterglow has the correct icon now. Was previously using Firelight’s
UI: Sure Shot now grants the correct crit chance (was only giving 5% instead of 10%)
