Demo is back!

Changes: The Demo is back live, save progress from the demo will count towards the main game. When the ant nests get destroyed then now damage enemies that are in range.

changedChanges:When the ant nests get destroyed then now damage enemies that are in range.
changedChanges:Missing Health clips had a rework, they were calculating of an incorrect base value so bigger clips were getting faster reloads than smaller clips at low health values, but then at critical health they were slower.
changedChanges:In relation to above the reload UI has been adjusted, now when a reload is faster the UI it will start at the correct point, e.g. if you are reloading 50% faster the UI will start at 50%.
removedChanges:Removed sounds from the tiny explosions, it was creating a spike in the amount of sounds getting played because they almost always fire quickly.
addedChanges:Added a UI pop-up if the game picks up a corrupted save, hopefully no one should ever see this but it's an extra catch just in case something weird happens to the active save file.

  • Some slight changes to how crate launch physics are calculated, we had some instances where no upwards force was being applied to the crate making it fall through the ground.

  • Missing Health clips had a rework, they were calculating of an incorrect base value so bigger clips were getting faster reloads than smaller clips at low health values, but then at critical health they were slower.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed the tutorial level not triggering the correct initialisation of VFX managers on certain systems. this would bug out the tutorial for some people.

  • Fixed FPS changes in options menu, when we were making changes for the Steam Deck we accidentally overwrote the base values every time,

  • The speed up fire rate melee barrel types had missing SFX, now they have the correct sounds when activating, we also changed them to reset the counter each hit so it should be more powerful.

  • The arrow pointing to the next level transition will hide itself when the level up UI is active.
