1-7 July Hi friends, fans & family! This week I’ve been doing all sorts of small fixes and tweaks: Gameplay: - XP for kills has been removed.

removedGameplay: - XP for kills has been removed. Individual XP is still at thing bug all heroes will get the same amount of XP per mission except if they have certain skills or items that give bonuses. There are other ways of getting XP too…
removedDefense and armor has been merged into one. Wearing an armor gives you defense points as do certain skills and standing on forest tiles etc. The difference is that the armor points get depleted when you take damage while the tile bonuses are valid for every hit you take. Example: Def +1 from the forest tile means every attack will be reduced by 1 point while armor 6 means you can take 6 damage before your HP is affected. I removed the armor icon to reduce confusion. Armor might “regenerate” every turn but that depends on how it’s received…
changedCooldowns have been replaced by stamina. Skills will now have a stamina cost to use so you can potentially use them several times in a row although some skills might still have a limited number of uses (potions and scrolls work that way). This also means that different heroes have different levels of stamina and this will be another thing that the player needs to manage.
addedOther: - Added one of those fancy disclaimer texts that developers use to explain why their demo isn’t as good as it could be :D
fixedFixes/improvements: - Fixed some item descriptions - Fixed meditation skill so it restores stamina instead of reducing cooldowns - Fixed skill icons to show the correct number of uses and be greyed out when the hero doesn’t have enough stamina to use a particular skill - Fixed so items with a fixed number of uses are properly activated/deactivated. - Fixed missile and lightning scrolls - Changed XP rewards per mission. Heroes will maybe level up every other mission at the current rate. Might become a difficulty parameter that the player can tweak - Adjusted dialogue panel - Fixed so popup panel when getting a new skill has the proper font, graphics etc - Removed purple outline on destination tiles in escort missions - Made a new build for the Steamdeck so I can test the game and hunt for bugs when I'm not near the computer
