Demon Hunters,

The second playtest is coming to an end, and we’re happy with how it went - a lot of players and a lot of feedbacks!

Feedback

A large amount of feedback was collected from Steam, Discord, and the Google form. The most common points are already part of our plans for launch and post-launch support.

In general, your feedback matched the areas we already knew needed work.

Most frequently requested improvements:

  • Affix rerolling (potentially using HellDust)

  • Clearer stat tooltips and active modifier explanations

  • A detailed unlocks window

  • More Arsenal filters

  • Marking weapons as favorites or junk

  • Auto-merge and auto-scrap for weapons (partially implemented)

  • A bestiary with enemies/weapons descriptions and mechanics

  • And of course, more content - weapons, perks, enemies

Visibility was also mentioned often - especially with certain builds where enemies can be hard to read. Improving combat readability is actively being worked on.

Leaderboards and Infinity Mode

Watching the leaderboard competition was great - seeing insane records was genuinely exciting. Unfortunately, seeing leaderboards fill up with cheaters faster than we could clean them (not to mention bugs) was far less fun. Fixes on the way.

Infinity Mode itself showed strong potential, especially in combination with leaderboards, but it also turned out to be broken in several ways.

Next time we will fix/change it so Infinity Mode will reward build quality over pure player endurance.

Difficulty, again!

We missed the mark here again. The early game was harder than intended, even for us. The difficulty curve is being reworked (again!) so the start is easier and each next biome or difficulty hits harder. Unlocks are also will be adjusted to let players experiment with different runes and synergies earlier.

Moving forward

New content and systems are actively in development. More details will be shared as we get closer to new playtest, release and beyond.

Thank you again for playing, testing, and sharing feedback!
