In-Testing
Our Alpha testing continues, and we are still accepting applications in Discord for Alpha Testers.
Bukenstrand and the NPC Body Pipeline
The town of Bukenstrand reached its full location roster of 23 authored places. Each NPC's specific body and pronouns were wired through the import pipeline end to end, fixing a report where a visibly male NPC was describing itself as female. This work is in progress rather than finished — the pipeline is marked untested as of July 22, and getting it verified and merged is the next concrete step.
The world-authoring tool, Hollow, was reorganized into a cleaner staged pipeline. The next chapter of world-building, richer points of interest and objects players can interact with, is being designed deliberately rather than bolted on.
Character Creation
The long redesign of character creation hit its major milestones this sprint: the state-tracking rebuild is done, the natal chart entry point is confirmed, and the redesign has its sign-off. A player's chosen portrait framing now follows them correctly across every window instead of drifting between screens. The remaining open item is a consolidation of how the server judges a character complete, which is still in progress.
The world now has ambient sound from the moment you arrive, fixing a case where sound only kicked in after moving the camera.
