changedThis Wednesday, March 11th, our lead architect David Rivera is presenting Grimmloch's distributed server architecture at the official Akka.NET Community Standup -- an invitation from the framework's creators at Petabridge to show how we built a persistent single-world MMORPG on their technology.
changedThe presentation covers how Grimmloch maintains a living world where NPC relationships, player interactions, and world state survive server failures without data loss. The same distributed systems patterns used in federal railroad safety infrastructure are what keep Grimmloch's world running.

We are a two-person studio building something that does not exist yet -- a persistent text-based MMORPG designed from the ground up for collaborative storytelling. When the people who build the tools invite you to show what you made with them, it means the engineering holds up to scrutiny. We think that matters.

Launch: February 14, 2027.
