Grimdelve well be delving into June Next Fest 2026 on June 15th!

This update though is mainly to prove that I do actually look at the feedback form and everyone who has filled it out has had an impact on the game in some way. Thank you for supporting this indie dev!

  • Might now impacts stamina and Agility now only impacts speed (per feedback form)

  • Added a text log in the menu for players who miss dialogue (per feedback form)

  • Added an option to manually choose which button prompts appear, like Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo, etc (per feedback form)

  • Fixed a bug with the boulder reset choice in the flood puzzle where resetting the boulders would not reset the completion state if one had already been pushed into place (per feedback form)

  • Overhauled the Mora - Odila choice sequence

  • Added new gameover artwork

  • Tinkered with the lighting systems to fix lights occasionally popping in (hopefully nothing else broke...)

  • Added some more sprite animations

  • Made it so if Jaro is really scared, his sprites eyes go wide

  • Made some changes to a few maps for lore reasons

  • Fixed more grammar errors, of which there are infinite but I'm trying

I also made a new trailer for the game, drawing on what I did for my last game "Aimi." It's a bit out there so let me know what you think!

Outside of polishing the demo, I have made A TON of progress on the rest of the game. Jaro's story is pretty much done save for playtesting, and Gisela's story is about 1/3rd of the way done. We're getting very close cave divers! I hope you enjoy this new demo and thank you for being a great community.
