Hey everyone!
Thank you for your patience! It's been an amazing few days full of amazing people that were kind enough to give feedback on Gridfall. Thank you to you all!
I went ahead and finally got"Random Events"in the game! There's only 5 so far, but it's a nice proof of concept, I feel! The next priority is to overhaul the store, which I really want to do before Next Fest, but no promises, ha.
Here are the changelogs for this update:
New Gameplay-Changing Content
5 New Random Events;
Adjustments, Minor Additions and Tweaks
You can now see a preview of your Units in the Army List;
Camps are now guaranteed at certain points;
Implemented Help buttons in the Map and Battles;
When unlocking/modifying tiles, a title appears to make the process more clear;
Adjusted "Continue Game" Army icon size;
Reduced time for a Map Location to trigger after clicking;
Several UI Colour Adjustments;
Battles are now more engaging. An actual enemy is displayed and animated, and new camera movement was added to help with pacing.
Removed "M" from Multiplier improvements. Given that Sum and Mult have distinct colours now, it felt redundant;
Added small Unit Type text above Unit's Name;
Added Restart Run button to Pause Menu
Bug Fixes
Fixed bug where Saves would not register a change of Kingdom;
Fixed bug that was causing Boss locations to not bounce in map;
Fixed bug that was causing debuffs to not get reset after winning a game;
Fixed bug that caused Battle Tactics to not be saved sometimes;
