Summer is here! The warm weather is perfect for our Sproutlings to ramp up their farming and stock up on food and electricity for later in the year. To aid their terraforming endeavours, we just dropped a new patch for the demo. Let’s see what the Sproutlings are getting in this update!

New Demo Update!

The biggest gameplay change in this patch is the new decoration unlock system. Now certain decorations can only be unlocked in specific zones, and the unlocked decorations will carry over to different maps within the same world playthrough. We have also tuned down the fires in the Forge Zone and made them more forgiving. You can find the full change log below 👇

Change log:

  • Added new decoration unlock system, each zone has several related decoration unlockables

  • Adjusted fire tuning, less punishing fire spread in Forge

  • Fields which don't meet the soil requirement of the swap target crop become empty, a warning is shown on UI if the soil is insufficient

  • Some messages (e.g. drones) are shown as tutorial messages on the left when the tutorial is active

  • Sprinkler description now mentions revealing fogged areas

  • Fixed some string errors

  • Fixed power recalculation bug when save is reloaded

  • Fixed uncaptured and fogged reactors shown in power overlay

  • Fixed buggy decoration repair, workers repeatedly walking to damaged decorations

  • Fixed auto-pause UI elements unpausing the game even if it had been paused before opening them

  • Improved crop switch panel positioning and visibility over other UI elements

  • Drone spawning in Town is now linked to player progress
