Devlog 2. A Collaborator, a Demo on the Way, and an Empty Jar

I am holding an egg in my hand. It has no purpose, really. It is simply a way for a chicken to make other eggs, as V.M. Varga said. It has been a while since the last devlog.

changedDemo in MarchA short demo should be playable around March. It keeps the Oyasumi Punpun mood. The screenshots are real gameplay, not mockups. Branching is intact and growing.
removedWriting Update - Collab! The material gets adapted and heavily branched to fit the game. The hard part is no longer writing it. A large amount of dialogue and story already exists. The hard part is integrating all of it and making the branches actually hold.

It has been a while since the last devlog. The project is alive and being worked on every day.

Writing Update - Collab!

The biggest shift is in the writing. I am now working with the writer Milha Vek, whose recently published book forms the basis of part of the story. If you want to support the author directly, the book is Mariya by Milha Vek, on Amazon.

100 Wishlists

A woman keeps a jar on her windowsill and tells everyone it contains the first hundred coins she ever earned. Guests are impressed. The jar has always been empty. She finds the lie more valuable than any amount of coins, and she is, financially, correct.

I bring this up because I was going to show you proof that a hundred people wishlisted the game. I even photoshopped it a little. Small dev, large ego. The truth is closer to the jar. We are early, and I am mostly talking to an empty room and a few of you. Hello to the few of you.

Remarks

I am excited for you to see what we made. It will make you feel things, and not all of them will be comfortable.

Wishlist and follow if you want to see where this goes.
