Chat Items Beta Starts Now! 💬

Chat Items are new items that allow text chat when placed in a room.

You can enjoy casual conversations in your room, say a quick word to people working alongside you, and experience a slightly different kind of interaction than before.

Whether you want to use chat or prefer not to, please try gogh in the beta environment and share your feedback with us!

At this time, we have not set an end date for the beta. We are currently considering keeping it open for a slightly longer period, and we will make a separate announcement before closing it.

1. How to Use the Beta

To switch to the beta environment, you will need to change the game version to the beta version from the Steam client app. Please see the guide below for details.

Please note that multiplayer is still available even if players are split between the release version and the beta version.

2. Chat Item Features

Only users who want to use chat need to display it

• Text chat is only available in multiplayer rooms where a Chat Item has been placed.

• Chat is not always displayed to everyone in the room. It is only shown to users who select the relevant item.

Stickers available in 4 languages

• The Chat Items include many stickers that let you communicate even without text. These stickers are also available as LINE stickers in Japan.

• Stickers are automatically localized into English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. We hope you enjoy using them to communicate with users across different languages.

• Sticker List UI

Also available in single-player rooms

• You can place Chat Items in your own room and use them for quick everyday notes.

Check whether a room has Chat Items before entering

• From the multiplayer room list, you can check in advance whether a room has Chat Items placed, or hide rooms that include Chat Items.

Supports write restrictions immediately after entering a room

• Just like Drawing Items, Chat Items support restrictions that prevent writing for a set amount of time after entering a room.

Safety features are also included

• NG words

• Spam prevention

• Deleting your own past posts

• Kick and block from the chat window

Hidden Feature: Dice Roll

• Enter /dice xDy to roll x dice with y sides and display the total.

3. Chat Items

We have added four types of Chat Items to the Special Items category.

Blackboard-style and memo-style items display different chat window designs.

Please note that even if multiple Chat Items are placed, there will only be one chat window per room.
