gogh: Focus with Your Avatar changes
The Steam Summer Sale will begin again this year at 2:00 AM JST on June 26 (Fri)!
We're also releasing a major update on June 25 (Thu), so today we'd like to introduce what's coming in the update, as well as our upcoming Free Weekend!
Summer Major Update! ☀️
1. Avatar Slots Doubled 👫
Avatar slots will increase from 9 to 18. You'll be able to create even more avatars. Of course, each slot will still come with 3 outfit slots.
2. Avatar Uploads Are Coming 📤️
You'll be able to upload avatars you've created in the app to the Workshop. You can choose between Public or Unlisted, and whether others can edit them, giving you plenty of ways to share your creations.
3. Avatar Card "Focus Certification" 💳️
You'll be able to create a special card certifying that your avatar has been recognized by Planet Kuroda as a lifeform capable of focusing. You can generate, share, and download a unique card image for each avatar. Stay tuned for the design!
4. Transparent Background Capture 📸
You'll be able to independently show or hide five elements within a room: "My Avatar," "Other User Avatars," "Kuroda 42," "Room Items," and "Room Environment & Background." By hiding "Room Environment & Background" in Photo Mode, you'll be able to capture transparent-background images and green-screen videos.
5. New Outdoor Large Room & Room Items 🌴
Outdoor focus sessions are about to get even better. We're also adding 60 new room items! We'll leave the details of the new room as a surprise!
6. New Avatar Items 👚
We're planning to add around 15 new summer-themed avatar items!
7. New Poses 👯♂️
Mainly, we're planning to add around 13 alternate posture variations of existing work-focused poses!
8. Watch Party Screens Support Images & New XS Size
Many users felt that Watch Party screens stood out too much. Once image placement is supported, you'll be able to customize how the screen looks when videos aren't playing. We're also adding an even smaller XS size option.
In addition, several bug fixes are planned as part of this update.
Also, during the sale period, gogh will once again be available at our biggest discount ever: 40% off!

Free Weekend Is Coming❗️
We're excited to announce the first-ever Free Weekend (limited-time free play event) for the Steam version of gogh!
July 9 (Thu) - July 12 (Sun) *Pacific Time
During this period, you'll be able to play the full game for free!
After the event ends, we'll continue with a special sale that extends beyond the Steam Summer Sale period, so if you enjoy the game, you'll still be able to purchase it at a discounted price.
This is a one-time event lasting only four days. Before, during, and after those dates, there won't be another opportunity like it. If you could let your friends, family, and anyone you know know that"gogh is free to play right now!", we'd be incredibly grateful. Thank you for your support!!

During the Free Weekend period, we expect more users than usual to visit gogh. The atmosphere in multiplayer rooms may feel a little different than usual, and there may be an increase in disruptive users. We'd appreciate your understanding.
