Godstone changes
Thank you so much for sticking around and playing Godstone! I hope you are cozy and warm with some hot cocoa, enjoying that winter atmosphere. To celebrate December, I have worked extra hard to bring you guys a brand new minigame to Godstone; Winter Mania!
About Winter Mania Play as Alakai in this endless minigame, introducing 3 new snow-based enemies along with a final bossrush! Get powerups after each wave of snowmen, build the best synergies and stay alive for as long as you can!
Along with all of this, I have also added 2 new items for the base game, as well as a bunch of polish, balancing and bugfixing!
All items that only affect organic enemies now affect all enemies.
Decreased the intensity of screen shake in all bossfights.
Removed a bunch of containers from areas that also have combat, decreasing the amount that appear, but increasing the value gained from them in general.
Altered and polished a bunch of maps
- Changed the Tome of Swiftness powerupIt only grants attack speed and not movement speed. This is due to movement speed messing up with multiple bossfights. Instead, the attack speed bonus is increased from 2.5% to 10%.
Changed the Swiftness Skill. It no longer grants movement speed. In return, the attack speed bonus is increased from 5% to 10%.
Reduced the energy cost of Ablans Mastery from 10 to 5.
Increased the hitbox of Ablans Mastery, making it easier to hit enemies
The Map now better shows how far you are by adding a “/ 17” next to the currently reached level
There is now a 50% chance that either The Keeper or Otai spawn in each playthrough. Both can also spawn in the same playthrough if lucky (or unlucky).
The map now shows what boss will appear in the current playthrough instead of their general spawn places
Fixed an error were Otai spawns at the wrong level compared to the map
Fake walls are now marked with a faint symbol
Orb spells no longer bounce on walls.
Black Circle spell now emits light
Raven Charm Relic also has an effect on enemies cursed with Sleep
Fixed an issue were screen shake did not work at level 6
Added 7 new maps.
Changed Neferin Lords (the floating skulls): Instead of spreading blood when it dies, it spreads blood were it floats by default. Blood no longer chills the player when touching it, but will keep healing enemies that walk on it.
Added a new crown; Trinity! For each enemy cursed, burning and chilled, comets fall down from above. These comets are either fire, frost or neferin and deal 25% extra damage to enemies affected by their debuff type. Fire deals bonus damage to burn etc.
Added 2 new items!
Emberglass
If an enemy is both cursed and chilled: They explode in fire at intervals, dealing extra damage to burning enemies.
Deathbell
When damaged below 10 endurance, unleash a nova that inflicts chill, burn and Taint on enemies nearby
Fixed a bug that caused the bars sprites not to finish their animation if you exit the room right after the ambush has ended. When returning to the room, the bars will simply appear as closed, but they can be walked through.
Fixed a bug that allowed the player to melee attack while invisible, without breaking invisibility
Shortened how long doorways are closed after entering them
