Hail sorcerers! It has been a while, and I have been working hard in the shadows to bring you guys Act II of Godstone! You can now go to the second area after defeating the Guardian of Sanctums, mess around with costumizable skilltrees, over 100 new levels, new weapon types, crafting and so much more!

The Crimson Gardens Finally you can continue the game after going through the final portal and enter a haunted temple landscape with spirits, undead and underground crypts. You will face the might of the Siratic Order, intense bossfights and of course the continued story!
The Bloodtree: A fully costumizable skilltree where you insert gems into its sockets, and whatever effects the gems have now apply to you! These gems can be crafted, purchased and drop in each run. They can change how your character works anywhere from removing health entirely, command an endless army of crows, turn your spells into shotguns, be permanently invisible and more!
- NPC ShopsI have added 2 NPC's that offer unique services, allowing you to buy temporary buffs and gems for the bloodtree!
- New weaponsI have also added daggers and throwing knives to give a much faster playstyle, and along with the gems from the bloodtree you can turn it into a full on assassin build. Along with this, I have also added 12 Unique Weapons that are both rare and very powerful. These Unique Weapons can cast new types of spells, increase your stats and even kill you if you are not careful.
This update has probably taken a little over half a year to make and has been a huge undertaking. In the future I will do some much more regular smaller updates because my lawd this was a lot xD

Fixed a bug that allowed you to open and enter doors while a menu is up on screen
Fixed a bug that caused you to go to an incorrect room when leaving the Hall of Fame
Fixed an issue with Dark Altar: If it spawns a crown and the ceiling is too close above it, the crown will be stuck in the ceiling.
Urns have new sound effects when broken - they actually sound like clay now!
Fixed a bug that allowed NPC's to drop gold while a scene is playing
Fixed a bug that allowed the effect of Charm of Featherfall to carry over to the next run
Altered and fixed some dialogs as well as added new ones based on player character
Fixed a freeze bug that happened when player is ambushed and a critter is stuck in the closing doors
Fixed the misplaced dialog arrow when Meris has a flashback
Changed the intensity of some spells and items to make them less visually overwhelming during combat
Fixed a minor issue with monster spawners that kept spawning enemies after player death, aka infinite monsters on the screen xD
Increased the difficulty on Insanity to balance it with the new permanent progression!
Changed the starting stats of the following characters: - Gerion: Now starts with 25 energy instead of 30 and a 10% movement speed bonus
- Ablan: Now starts with 40 energy instead of 30, 7 endurance instead of 10 and a 10% slower movement speed.
- Alva: Now starts with 12 endurance instead of 10, 20% slower attack speed and deals 60% more damage overall.
Increased Otai's health from 90 to 110
Fixed a bug that caused Otai to ignore max resistances, allowing the player to heal instead of taking damage from his attacks if you have more than 100% physical resistance
Fixed an error that caused Boss Meris to be immune to burn
Fixed a bug that allowed the miniboss Azon to be empowered on Insanity difficulty, making him even more broken than he already is
Made the hitboxes of some enemy missiles easier to read
Nerfed the relic Book of Storms, slightly reducing its chance of spawning lightning on attack
Nerfed the relic Circle of Meditation, restoring 3 energy instead of 4.
Fixed a bug that caused information on skills to not appear the first time you open the skill menu while using either controllers or aimless mode.
Fixed a bug in the skill menu, causing information text to not disappear when you no longer hover your mouse over the skill button
Added a short dialog with the guard blocking the entrance to the empress' throneroom at the very first run
Bosses and enemies can no longer die after the player has died
Fixed issues with some of Alakai's scenes not skipping properly, causing his spells to deal damage, player walk out of control and even potentially take damage.
Fixed an error causing the spell Explode to only deal 3 damage when it should deal 5.
Fixed a bug that causes Meris not to drop loot if you press ESC to skip the meris defeat scene
Fixed a bug that caused some enemies to still give polayers experience when killed, when being spawned by other enemies. This allowed you to farm infinite experience. (sorry for the anti-cheese)
Fixed an error that allowed boss Meris to be empowered while playing on Insanity
Fixed a bug that caused Charm of Destructions explosion to not happen on normal enemies, but only on bosses.
Fixed an error with Soul Prison. Normally, when a CURSED enemy dies it will restore half an endurance point on you, but instead it just restored it even without having the enemy be cursed.
Improved sword fighting to make it feel less clunky: If you hold the mouse down to perform power attack but you can't afford it, the player now makes a normal attack instead of waiting.
Increased Meris boss' endurance from 190 to 220 to balance out with the introduction of the Bloodtree
Nerfed the range on orb of flames and orb of frost and the amount of missiles they spawn
Nerfed the relic Storm Caller, reducing how often it summons a swirling storm
Fixed a bug that allowed Skeletal frostmages to have 2 empowerments at once on insanity difficulty, also causing their healthbar to only show when they have been damaged below 50% health
Fixed a bug that caused the player to always start on the left side of the sanctum instead of from the center if you took the path through the mines in the prologue
There is now boss music when fighting shardbearers
Fixed a bug that caused the player to sound like you take damage from Otai's melee attack despite dodging
Fixed a bug, causing Corpse Leaper to be unaffected by fear
Fixed a bug causing imps to turn invisible when affected by fear
Changed Ring of Courage. Instead of giving energy when damaged, it now gives a temporary 20% boost to all resistances if you are damaged below 10 health
Fixed a bug that caused you to be permanently stuck at the boat if you died in the prologue
Fixed an error with Primordial Tumor that allowed it to be killed within .5 seconds by using Crown of Chainlightning and any thunder spell. The chainlightning that the Tumor spawns would be stuck in the ground but inside its hitbox so it would take huge amounts of damage every frame.
Fixed a bug after defeating the double shardbearer bossfight that caused the locked doors to automatically open in the next level
Reduced the amount of missiles spawned when 'spreading neferin taint' from 13 to 9 missiles
Previously the shard of spellcasting restored energy whenever you dealt physical damage. Instead, it now restores 2 energy whenever you kill an enemy. Its name has also been changed to Eye of Spellcasting to seperate it from the other shard items that has effects when dealing physical damage.
Changed the relic Charm of Focus: Before it had a chance to restore energy when damaged. Instead of this, it now gives gives +4 max energy
Reduced the energy gained from Charm of Meditation by 1
Changed how the skill Masochism works: it now Reduces max health by 5 and gives 7% to all damage and 7% to all resistances
- Nerfed Essence of EnergyReduced energy regeneration gained by 20%
- Nerfed Ancient RuneReduced energy regeneration gained by 10%
Nerfed Blazing Rune and Chilling Rune, slightly reducing their cast chances
Buffed the relics Summer Gem and Winter Gem to restore energy 40% faster
Lightning no longer bounces on platforms
Added a visual effect when you open a secret wall with a button
Fixed a bug that caused information about how many tomes you have collected to not show when navigating the inventory using the keyboard
Fixed a bug that allowed bosses to be feared
Changed the age of the Empress Gilzera from a young adult to a child empress
Nerfed frozen amulet, reducing its chance to cast frost nova when attacking from 10% to 7%
Fixed a bug that caused bosses to not display chill debuff
Changed how power attack with sword works: It no longer prevents you from moving
Empowered enemies now always drop gold
Pillars that allow you to teleport out of a dungeon now say "Exit Dungeon" when approaching it
Fixed a bug that caused the player character to get stuck in the floor when pressing down to go down through a platform while also standing on solid floor
Fixed an error that caused Black Circle to actually not prevent healing - instead it was actually the curse debuff it applied that prevented healing, which means any spell that inflicted curse also prevented healing
