Hello everybody! I know it's been a little while since we last posted any update on our current progress on the game, but we're still hard at work on the project and we've cooked up a couple new systems, as well as an entirely new upcoming location which, I'm gonna show you in this post. First things first though. Thank you so much for 90 wishlists, we really appreciate every person who takes interest in our game and we are doing our best to create something that we want others to really enjoy, so again thank you for following the development of our game and we can't wait to show more for you. addedHello everybody! I know it's been a little while since we last posted any update on our current progress on the game, but we're still hard at work on the project and we've cooked up a couple new systems, as well as an entirely new upcoming location which, I'm gonna show you in this post. First things first though. Thank you so much for 90 wishlists, we really appreciate every person who takes interest in our game and we are doing our best to create something that we want others to really enjoy, so again thank you for following the development of our game and we can't wait to show more for you. addedRandomly Generated LevelsInitially we planned out our game to have more linear sort of levels, rather than random generation every run, however we quickly realized that, that scenario would become boring quite quickly and for that reason we decided to work on a newly made random generation system Please note that these are early development footages and we are still working on improving things and these are just to showcase the base function of what we are making. Steam post image Steam post image The maps will have a beginning point, a couple tasks to do around the map while clearing out the rooms and the final boss door that will open after completing the said tasks. Of course there will also be the shop rooms in which you will be able to buy weapons, spells and new items! We want to try to give each location it's own distinct mini-bosses and bosses as well other features like in factory the breakable viles of acid. And as you have noticed we have started work on the new location!
addedThe Dead Wild WestSteam post image The incredibly hot, sunny landscape of waves of sand, in which only a couple other surviving plants reside around had now also met the sudden waves of undead coming into it. The slayers here will have to beware of the quicksand and the aforementioned hot sun, burning them down. Steam post image We are still working on adding more to this and older locations obviously, this is still a work in progress, but we're pretty happy with how it's looking so far! And now moving onto our last new addition.
changedThe Item SystemDuring each run players alongside spells and weapons will now also be able to obtain different passive items which can help changing the general playstyle and overall handling of each run. Items can range from stat improvements to complete additions to your moveset and help you a lot, for example first item, "Garden Petals" Make you shoot out a hoaming petal every few seconds that would circle towards the nearest enemy. Steam post image Or another one which makes you explode on taking damage! Steam post image And zapping enemies nearby and saving you from death once and dealing double damage every few seconds. There's plenty more where that came from and we're working on adding more and more. We will also open a suggestion channel pretty soon in our discord server, so if you would like to suggest what do you think would the game benefit from, feel free to join and make a thread there, we'd be interested in hearing what you would have to say.
