GET MAZED 0.2: THE REBIRTH UPDATE
The total overhaul of the labyrinth is here.
Today marks a major turning point for GET MAZED. Over the past few months, we have worked tirelessly to rethink the very core of the game. Our goal was clear: transform the experience to make it much more fast-paced, brutal, and rewarding.
We absolutely wanted to give you a taste of our brand new direction. Forget your old habits: this 0.2 update is a total gameplay overhaul, now focused on pure PvE action.
WHAT'S NEW IN THE MAZE?
- Interface OverhaulNew menus, new design. Everything has been rebuilt from scratch to throw you faster into the action.
Difficulty & Map System: Your run, your rules. Customize the maze size (Small, Medium, Large, Giant) and adjust the challenge (Easy, Normal, Hard, Impossible).
- Co-op & Steam MatchmakingDive into the dungeon solo, or form a squad of 2 to 4 players with the new system to easily find and join your friends' games via Steam.
- Arsenal & LootExploration pays off. Carve your way to find new weapons, open chests, and gather gold.
Unpredictable Objectives: Survive rooms with varying rules: time-delay arenas, hostile survival, or pure elimination objectives.
Secret Bonus Rooms: Take risks to discover hidden areas, such as the Fountain of Youth, treasure rooms, or deadly puzzles.
End of Game Statistics: Prove your worth. Compare your kill count and performance with the rest of your team once the run is over.
A NEW THREAT: THE WARDEN OF THE MAZE
The bestiary is expanding to test your limits. Prepare to face a formidable new boss: the Warden of the Maze himself, the terrifying Corpse Devourer.
THE FUTURE OF GET MAZED
We are already actively working on the next content, but we wanted to get this new version into your hands as soon as possible so you can experience this new way to play.
Given the scale of this technical and visual overhaul, you might encounter a few bugs in the labyrinth. Your feedback is essential to our development: don't hesitate to report them on the forums to help us polish the experience.
Grab your weapons. The maze awaits. The Development Team
