Free Demo!

The free demo is now available on Steam, tell your buds!

The Endgame

  • After the defeat of Floor 100, guilds that have completed the Codex & Ritual whisper chain can perform the "Severance Ritual" — a true ending. You must make a decision and if you choose correctly, the realm enters an Age of Hope: a permanent legacy of greater renown, higher morale, and fewer dark events. No spoilers here.

  • The four deep-lore whisper chains now unlock earlier in a normal playthrough and ompleting a deep-lore whisper chain now grants a closing letter. No spoilers.

  • The Era of Championsonce the Tower is conquered, the realm turns from survival to glory. Rivals push harder for the Crown Cup, an era banner tracks the reigning champion and dynasties, and new Hall of Fame honors await the first era cup and three-in-a-row dynasties.

The Living World

  • Rival guilds now have storylines and personality: a leadership crisis can gut a guild's operations, a fire sale floods the trading block with discounted contracts, and a wealthy patron can vault a rival to aggressive expansion overnight.

  • Adventurers who leave your guild — poached, sold, swapped, or deserted — now remember where they came from. Old faces resurface with fond letters or bitter taunts, and grudge-holding guilds are far more likely to be drawn as your wildcard rival.

  • Fallen heroes can now leave kin who arrive years later to take up the blade.

  • Rival capability intel is now gated behind your Scouting Post: a Tier 2 post estimates a rival's Combat, Operations, and Tower scores; Tier 3 reveals them exactly.

Dedicated Training Parties

  • Training-only parties now live on the Parties tab — drill a squad for stats and loyalty without spending a combat party slot. The Training tab is always visible (with a teaser when locked), and the Training Yard grants +1 training-party slot per tier, up to 3.

Ghost Guilds

  • Ghost Guilds: export your guild as a shareable code and import a friend's to bring their guild into your realm as a fully-simulated rival in the Crown League. No networking required — just trade codes. Located in your CCL tab.

  • Season Chronicle: one click in the year-end celebration saves a shareable image of your year — quests, raids, tower floors, gold, renown, honors, and losses.

Multiplayer (Beta)

  • A new Multiplayer option on the main menu lets you create or join an online league — a shared world with one market, one free-agent pool, and one Crown Cup League, where weeks advance once every guildmaster is ready. Configure up to 32 guilds (human and AI), a turn timer, and victory conditions, then invite friends with a league code. Browse public leagues or join by code, with a league-wide difficulty that keeps standings fair.

NOTE: Mutliplayer is not done yet. Today's push is the first steps I need up so I can start testing with some players. That being said, things are working well on my end, but there are a ton of gremlins for me to still work through. In turn, it's labeled "Beta", but I'll have it cleaned up in the coming weeks.

iPad Version

I have officially finished the tablet version of the game and have applied for an App Store Dev account. It may take a minute to get everything launched on the iOS app store, but it's sooner rather than later, now!

──────────────────────── QUALITY OF LIFE ────────────────────────

  • Each party card now shows a color-coded synergy-count badge, so active class synergies read at a glance across your whole party list.

  • The Academy summary now shows a per-trainee countdown to the mid-semester checkpoint and to semester's end.

  • The Parties roster picker now has a "Deployable only" filter to hide injured and resting members, and commander auto-fill is now synergy-aware.

  • The Workshop's auto-refine gains a "per-recipe block toggle" so wasteful or resource-protective recipes can be excluded, plus an "auto via" label showing exactly which recipe will fire.

  • The Guild Block now respects dismissals: banished rivals are hidden by default, with a toggle to review and restore them.

  • Tower Raid Preparation and Begin Descent buttons are now pinned in view instead of buried below long lore columns, and the Tower landing's rankings and party lists are more compact.

  • Faction Commission cards now name the commissioning faction.

  • The Gear tab's "Improvable only" filter now updates immediately when toggled, and improvement-slot indicators render as clearer squares.

  • Trade auto-balance now respects your excluded materials — blocked goods are never auto-offered.

  • Two new crafting recipes: Cooks can "Prepare Seafood" from shellfish, and Alchemists can *"Extract Medicinal" from medicinal crops.

──────────────────────── BALANCE ────────────────────────

  • Higher-rarity loot drops now roll extra stats beyond their base pair, drawn from the slot's own thematic pool. Sell values are unchanged.

  • Party-pooled trait bonuses now deliver their full advertised value per holder. Treasure Hunter's gold bonus, Lucky Find, Scavenger, and Collector were quietly delivering a fraction of their tooltip; they now pay out in full.

  • Several signature active abilities — multi-hit, life-drain, marked, sacrifice, chain, and extra-turn strikes — now contribute their true damage, making classes like the Berserker, Warlock, Assassin, and Sorcerer hit as hard as their kit suggests.

  • The open market now pushes back on bulk dumping: warehouse-scale liquidation feels softer sell prices and saturation, while normal quest-loot batches stay penalty-free. Dead Underworld upgrades (permanent rival intel, top-rival renown sabotage) are now active.

──────────────────────── BUG FIXES ────────────────────────

  • Closed a guild-block clone exploit where signing a rival could duplicate them; affected saves are healed and every roster member is given a unique id. Ctrl+C / Cmd+C no longer accidentally triggers the recruit hire and enroll hotkeys.

  • Fixed a Tower bug where an adventurer who fell in an early phase of a won multi-phase boss chain was silently kept alive — the dead are now correctly counted across every phase.

  • Fixed two crashes that could send the game to the error screen on starting or loading a save.

  • Fixed a per-turn lag spike that froze the game each week on large saves, and made quicksave and manual saves fast again instead of taking several seconds.

  • Trade-acquired adventurers no longer lose their career stat history; transferred stars keep their full record.

  • Fixed Guild sub-tab labels (and several other menus) staying in the previous language after switching languages mid-session.

  • Corrected the Russian transliteration of Gargadusa on the Tower banner and victory feeds.
