Quick update for October

As you may have heard, the publishing of "FSX: Steam Edition", which is the core product for FSX SpacePort, has reverted back from DoveTail Games to Microsoft (or more precisely, XBox Game Studios).

addedAs you may have heard, the publishing of "FSX: Steam Edition", which is the core product for FSX SpacePort, has reverted back from DoveTail Games to Microsoft (or more precisely, XBox Game Studios). However, currently there is no channel on Microsoft's side through which add-on developers can contact MS and ask for the permission to publish add-ons for FSX:SE, such was the case when DoveTail Games was the publisher.
addedIn the mean time, we are busy with polishing the sim and adding functionality, and we'll be shortly releasing an update to the demo showcasing this!

However, currently there is no channel on Microsoft's side through which add-on developers can contact MS and ask for the permission to publish add-ons for FSX:SE, such was the case when DoveTail Games was the publisher.

This leaves us in a bit of a holding pattern with regards to the release of FSX SpacePort. We have several fallback options, which would force us to move FSX SpacePort away from Steam, but we will wait for a bit and see if MS sorts this issue out.

In the mean time, we are busy with polishing the sim and adding functionality, and we'll be shortly releasing an update to the demo showcasing this!
