I made a small new update this time focusing on combat in the game. Its just a small patch adding shields and bows! As well as other fixes.
So now you can give the workers shields and they can block attacks from bandits when they get in combat. And the same the other way around, now bandits can block attacks from both the player and workers. Just a small step to make the combat more fun.
To block you simply equip a shield on the hotbar and hold right mouse button to block.
I also added a bow, so now you can go hunting or just shoot bandits from far away.

patch notes:
Add a bow and be able to unlock it via building the crafting bench.
Fixed a bug where workers wouldnt rotate towards their target when attacking.
Bandit Shield block mode:
Worker will now roll for an RNG number when going idle and while in combat to see if it should block, then it will block for 5 seconds and have a 10 second cooldown before it can block again. While its blocking it cant take damage.
Player
Fixed a bug where you couldnt attack while having a shield equipped. That should be fixed now.
Misc:
Fixed a bug where the game wouldnt remember you had unlocked the bandit raid when loading an old save.
- WolfFixed a bug where the wolf would target itself and just attack the air. Now it should walk around normally and taunt when the player gets in range, then chase and attack.
