Below is a full overview of the new additions:

New

  • Added a cheat window. (List of cheats)

  • Added a world map that can be accessed from the start by pressing (M).

  • Added console commands for teleportation and spawning items.

  • Added a new harvest animation for rabbits.

  • Added a new harvest animation for the other animals.

  • Added a new research site.

  • Added a wolf nest. (Work in progress)

  • Added two new story notes.

  • Added lanterns.

  • Added two new achievements.

  • Added weather.

  • Added fireflies effects.

  • Added more blood decals on the weapons and player hands when hurting or harvesting animals.

POI changes

  • Reworked the treehouses.

  • Changed the area around the waterfall.

  • Removed building blocked zones.

  • Relocated the discoverable hatchet.

Visual Changes

  • Adjusted and fixed a couple of animations.

  • Adjusted the visuals of several shaders and effects.

  • Adjusted the landscape shader.

  • Adjusted the darkness of shadows.

  • Adjusted the blueprint shader to make it more visible.

  • Lumen is no longer being used as the default global illumination mode to optimize performance.

AI Changes

  • Adjusted the frequency of rabbit sounds from trapped rabbits.

  • Changed the peripheral vision angle from 90 degrees to 45 degrees.

  • Changed the sight radius from 1500 to 1000.

  • Wolves no longer spawn once the nest has been cleared.

  • Replaced one of the spawners with foxes instead of wolves.

  • Wolf health changed from 200 to 350.

  • Boar health changed from 350 to 450.

  • Adjusted hit trace of wolves to give more accuracy.

Other changes

  • Disabled player collision on the fractures that drop from tree cutting events.

  • Default quality for global illumination changed from epic to high.

  • Default quality for shadows changed from epic to high.

  • Default quality for anti-aliasing changed from epic to medium.

  • Default screen mode changed from fullscreen to borderless.

  • Changed from DX12 to DX11

  • Foliage and trees will no longer block blueprint placements.

  • Leaves, cloth and vines are now automatically added to the inventory when destroying furniture/buildings.

  • Changed the ID of the leaf item to fix building issues.

  • Made changes to how trees are saved and loaded.

  • The icon over the campfire now only appears on the map.

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where players could not set the tamed animals name.

  • Fixed a bug where the ai name was slightly offset to the left.

  • Fixed a bug where only one wolf would howl when spotting player.

  • Fixed a bug where there would be no water footstep sounds when passing through the pumpkin river.

  • Fixed a bug where pressing “default” button in the settings menu didn’t work as intended.

  • Fixed a bug where it would be as bright as day during the night when turning global illumination quality to low or medium.

  • Fixed a bug where caves would be bright for some players.

  • Fixed a bug where the toolbar would disappear when going from the building category to crafting.

  • Fixed a shading issue with the interactable boulders.

  • Fixed a bug where the toolbar would disappear when destroying buildings.

  • Fixed a bug where the toolbar would disappear when pressing the inventory button while the building tab was open.

  • Fixed a bug where players could only get to 499 rocks in the 500 rocks achievement.

  • Fixed a bug where players could not build a campfire.

  • Fixed a bug where the game would freeze for some players when getting close to the treehouses.

  • Fixed a bug where the howling audio would keep playing when wolves took damage mid-howl.

  • Fixed a bug where sticks could not be used in campfires.

  • Fixed a bug where animals would stutter away or freeze when they were supposed to flee.

  • Fixed a bug where vines could be held and used like leaf bandages.

  • Fixed a bug where some weapons would not have camera shake effects.

  • Fixed a bug where tamed animals would not accept any other commands than follow.

  • Fixed a bug where predators would damage each other instead of the player.

  • Fixed a bug where overscrolling in the main menu settings would close the settings tab.

  • Fixed a bug where when clicking outside buttons in the settings or load save tab, it would revert back to the main menu screen.
