Repeated intro
Hey Players! The latest addition to Friend or Foe took a little longer than expected. Some of you may have noticed the 12 month absence on the store page, or the general absence this past year, but I'm happy to announce I'm getting closer to a release for the new expantion of the map! I have held back on releasing this earlier as the planning for the new expansion had to go through a redesign and I never want to publish anything without a certain quality. A lot of the environments also went through different concepts before the final design which I'm excited to share later down the road. I never want to promise an exact date, but I'm currently in the optimizing and testing stage so I'm hopeful that it will be within the next month or two. Today I wanted to share some of the incoming changes and additions with attached screenshots. Environment changes

Some of you may have noticed the 12 month absence on the store page, or the general absence this past year, but I'm happy to announce I'm getting closer to a release for the new expantion of the map! I have held back on releasing this earlier as the planning for the new expansion had to go through a redesign and I never want to publish anything without a certain quality. A lot of the environments also went through different concepts before the final design which I'm excited to share later down the road. I never want to promise an exact date, but I'm currently in the optimizing and testing stage so I'm hopeful that it will be within the next month or two. Today I wanted to share some of the incoming changes and additions with attached screenshots. Environment changes
changedThe trees have recieved a makeover and the cutting process is visually different but mechanically the same with room for better visual improvements further down the road.
addedThe saturation of the game is now also going to visually represent the players karma: Higher saturation = Good Karma Lower saturation = Bad Karma Therefore you might find the game a little less saturated than usual when you start a new game.
addedNew item additions
addedThe new update also features a 3-part diving gear set that can be found scattered around the map. Naturally that also means some changes to the diving system is arriving with the latest update too.
added(Preview: Changes may occur) Since the game is nearing its story conclusion in the planning stages, I hope to have more updates this year where we visit deeper exploration, player based tasks reflected by the player's reputation/karma, addition of new characters and choice-based outcomes. Not everything that was planned for the upcoming patch will be published straight away - instead I would like to publish small patches including new exploration site so that every new story addition gets the attention it deserves. As always, thank you so much for your patience and continuous support. Between juggling a fulltime job and the development of Friend or Foe I have had days where this game seems impossible to finish, but the little milestones and the pleasure of seeing someone play and interact with this creation makes every stressful and hopeless moment worth it. I would never have made it this far without you, so thank you.
