Repeated intro
Hey everyone! We’re the Final Third team, and this is our first announcement on Steam. So hi everyone! We’ve run a few closed pre-alpha tests over the last few months, and we think we’re ready to handle something slightly bigger. You can join the playtest on our store page, and we’ll be accepting people at a steady pace. We’re currently looking for NA testers only, but if you’re from other regions and you hit the “Join Playtest” button, that gives us the information we need to decide whether we should open servers in the other regions. So please, hit that button regardless.

Weekly Playtest FAQ
Q: What is Final Third? A: We're building a physics based soccer game where every touch of the ball is yours to control. When you're dribbling the ball, you need to time your movements and key presses to ensure that the ball travels with you. We've also done away with goalkeepers. In Final Third, a block wall stands in your goalmouth, and you will need to break down the wall to open an opportunity to score. Q: Are we allowed to invite friends?
A: Yes, we’re going to be allowing a certain number of friend invites into the tests. We still want to keep it manageable though, so we might turn that feature off in the future.
Q: Are we still under NDA?
A: No. We appreciate you guys for keeping this under wraps so far, but the team feels like you should be allowed to showcase the game on your social media, twitch channels and YouTube videos. All we ask is that you make it REALLY clear that we’re in the early stages of bringing this title to market, and that it is a work in progress.
Q: Will there be updates?
A: Right now, we’re not sure. There probably won’t be massive changes happening to it yet. We are obviously going to be working on our main development branch first and foremost, but if there are changes and updates that we want to test, you’ll probably see it in the beta at some point.
