Well hello there! We’re back with another peak at our biggest update yet to Final Third. You’ve already seen the new team area, customization and face off screens, and today we’re going to talk a little bit about ranking statues, new emotes, and Spectator Cam!

Statues

Everything you do in a Final Third match is scored. Whether you are dribbling past a team, or finding space and positioning well, you score points. Each match, we use these points to highlight key players, award exp and more.

We also keep track of the highest performing players on each pitch over a longer cycle, and to reward stand out performances, we’ve introduced statues to public areas.

New Emotes

Emote spamming is an important part of Final Third. Whether you score a goal from 30 yards or just chilling in the plaza, showing off your style is integral to the experience. We’ve added a bunch of new emotes for you to show off your style, and celebrate in the most elaborate of fashions! Steam post image

Draw me like one of your french ladies - This guy, probably.

Spectator Mode

We’ve added a new spectator mode allowing you to watch the match from the sidelines, and get the best view in the house! As you approach a pitch, you can press V on a keyboard or D-pad Left on a controller to activate the spectator camera. Steam post imageSteam post image

With the camera settings, you can either free-cam your way into the action, or let our (slightly not finished yet) automatic camera take the reigns.

We have 2 weekly tests left for you to join, so if you haven't already done so, feel free to get a taste of what Final Third is before this bigger April update is applied (towards the end of April).
