changedHello everyone! Our pre-alpha window has finally concluded, and before we talk about the future, we would like to thank all of those who have joined us over the last few months. We’ve been building Final Third with a feedback first mentality, and the moment to moment gameplay has seen great improvements since our very first pre-alpha test half a year ago.
addedAlpha Test #1We’re confident enough with the progress made so far to move ourselves from the pre-alpha name to an alpha! While we feel that we’ve nailed the moment to moment gameplay, these tests will be us adding additional layers to the game. We’re adding customization, missions, shops, statues, team-making assists and more. It is important for us to tell you that nothing is final. We still need your feedback to continue to shape Final Third into a game that we can all enjoy, and we can’t do so without feedback. Whether you dislike the new customization options or visuals, or whether you really like them, we’re looking for opinions on all of it to build the game more.
changedGiving FeedbackBuilding a game should be a communal experience. You will be the ones playing it, and we appreciate your insights and feedback on the title. While there are a few ways to reach out to us, the easiest way is to reach out to us on Discord. You can find our Discord server here [LINK] .
changedGiving FeedbackDuring this test, we will only be running servers in the USA. While we appreciate support from other regions, we are not quite ready to support multi-region servers.
changedGiving FeedbackWhat this means is that North America (including Mexico) should have a relatively decent ping connection to the servers. For regions outside of North America, you’re going to be experiencing some pretty heavy ping. We promise that we will be running EU, Asia, MENA and South American tests in the future, but for now we ask for your patience, and if you do want to join in, just know that dribbling can be a little bit difficult with high ping.

Hello everyone!

What is Final Third?

Final Third is a social, physics based soccer game. You control one player on the field, and join matches of up to 8 people in a match. You can run around the world, watch other matches, and also hone your skills in the plaza and training modes.

What sets us apart is the control. While other titles will hold your hand while dribbling forward and keep the ball at your feet, Final Third puts the ball control at your finger tips. Every touch, trap and shot is 100% under your control.

Alpha Test #1

We’re confident enough with the progress made so far to move ourselves from the pre-alpha name to an alpha!

So join us on the field between the following times and dates.

Test Dates: Daily from April 23 to April 29, 2026 Test Windows: 19:00 - 01:00 every day (EDT)16:00 - 22:00 every day (PDT)

Giving Feedback

Building a game should be a communal experience. You will be the ones playing it, and we appreciate your insights and feedback on the title. While there are a few ways to reach out to us, the easiest way is to reach out to us on Discord. You can find our Discord server here [LINK].

If you’re not into Discord, we also will be tracking our Steam discussion forums too. You are more than welcome to leave feedback and thoughts there for us to digest. You can find our community discussion board here [LINK]. This should go without saying, but while we appreciate and read through all feedback and comments, we can’t promise that everything will be answered or implemented due to practical limitations. Regardless, we will do our very best to cater to every single inquiry. Test Regions

During this test, we will only be running servers in the USA. While we appreciate support from other regions, we are not quite ready to support multi-region servers.

What this means is that North America (including Mexico) should have a relatively decent ping connection to the servers. For regions outside of North America, you’re going to be experiencing some pretty heavy ping. We promise that we will be running EU, Asia, MENA and South American tests in the future, but for now we ask for your patience, and if you do want to join in, just know that dribbling can be a little bit difficult with high ping.
