We've got some big changes for you today, along with a handful of quality of life changes that have been in the works for some time!

EMOTES

Ever since we started Few Shall Return, we knew that players need a way to chat with each other. Today, we are finally releasing Emotes so you can communicate with each other. There are 15 static ones and one that allows you to show the selected item from your inventory.

New LANGUAGES

Until now, we were just showing text for input buttons like "Left Click" or "A". Now, we've switched to a more visual approach that shows the actual button representation.

Smaller but NOTABLE changes

  • Before, if you managed to escape, all your items would move in the shared inventory. Starting today, the character that escaped will keep them so you can just press "Play" after a game and still have items!

  • A new animation for stunned characters

  • We're showing the quality of your connection in the bottom left corner

  • We have some awesome new carpets:

BUG Fixes

  • Melee attacks now hit properly at very close range

  • Aiming with range weapons has been fixed

  • The Objective header was getting duplicated

  • Some items would loose textures after interacting with them

  • Some chests were not dropping items

  • Damage numbers from crystals were showing in the wrong place

  • Sometimes weapons would end up in the floor

  • Sometimes weapons would drop behind the crystal and you couldn't pick them up anymore

What's Next?

Over the next couple weeks we'll be releasing a lot of QOL, polishes, and a surprise new challenge.
