Greetings, dungeon delvers!πŸ‘‹

We've got a MAJOR visual change for you today, along with a handful of quality of life changes that have been in the works for some time!

NEW Environment Assets

Our artist's been hard at work building new environmental assets to better fit the dungeon! New walls and variations for them were built and implemented, along with new variations for the floor tiles!Steam post image

NEW Doors

We've given all the doors in the game a face lift as well!

A NEW Way To See Through Walls

Get a better view of the battlefield, while still being able to admire the walls!

RECOLORED Assets

All environment assets which weren't replaced had their texture color temperature adjusted, to better fit with the cool tones of our new walls and floors.

Keys AUTO-SUBMIT

Previously, in order to submit keys to the puzzle door, you needed to scroll through your inventory and select them one by one, pressing interact on the door with them each time. Now, all keys in your inventory will submit together if you approach the door and hit interact with ANY keys in your inventory!

NEW Sounds

Sound effects have been updated across the board! We now have sounds for:

  • Navigating the main menu

  • Doing roster operations

  • Navigating the inventory in-game

  • Equipping items in-game

  • Picking items in-game

  • Dropping items in-game

And this is just the start of the Sounds Pass. More sounds are coming in the next updates!

AUTO Equip

To help reduce interface friction for new and returning players alike, auto equip is in this build! If you scroll over a weapon now, it'll appear in your hand, ready to use! The same also occurs for shields, but only if you don't have one equipped already.

FULL Controller Support

On Steam Deck or in Steam Big Picture mode, you can now control the entire game with controller, including typing the invite code!

Outside of those two, you can do everything with a controller except typing the code.

Bug Fixes

  • Props no longer spawn outside the map

  • Molokhia can again cook poison pies

What's Next?

We've got some more sound effects in the works, including additional SFX for enemies and player actions! Additionally, we're making it so extracted items stay on your character instead of being dumped in the stash. And, we're giving item descriptions a proper UI!
