Fernageddon changes
Tinkered with the damage vs armour system! I think the most important feature for any weapon previously was it's armour penetration and anything without this (swords, bows...) were poor. Hopefully balance now much better!
Fixed repeated pressing ESC crash to desktop .
Fixed a couple of obscure loops due to lack of space in combat - when running from fire, and when summoning with nowhere nearby empty.
Lowered initial wandering enemy strengths considerably. You now get a longer easy period at the start of each game.
Toned down Last Alliance strength a little. (Surviving settlements send 1/3 of their troops rather than 1/2)
Changes to allow a generally bigger warband: Removed the warband size subvert penalty. Lessened the ambush penalty for a large warband.. Plus 10 to forage for all levels/biomes.
Reduced mana recharge rate a little.
Improved stock levels when trading at a Town.
No more credit for food purchases! (You could previously go into negative gold if buying food)
You can now view and copy your map seed on the Inventory screen.
Now shows Glory level on the Inventory screen. (Previously only showed points and what was needed for next level)
Slowed Glory gain a little.
Fixed Statistics - days on team. (new joiners only)
Troll, Minotaur, Bear all get some help in the form of armour penetration.
Spiders become size 2 like trolls, minotaurs and bears. This gives them some protection against being outnumbered and surrounded.
Minotaur reduced in size (graphically only - he obscured other squares too much)
Goblins and Roaches get a new more spread out deployment style - they were too vulnerable to one good initial fireball!
It's now a little more difficult to get joiners of the same type. (i.e. if you have 5 wolves already, less will want to join)
Increased Araby previous recruitment subvert penalty a little.
Added Araby General as a possible subvert candidate if you have a high charm score.
You now get a message from God every day if all the settlements are destroyed, to tell you where any Alliance troops are.
New Class heads for Liche and Undead General.
Fixed problem with endgame sequence not firing correctly. (Apologies again for this, and thanks for the save games - I took the opportunity to do a re test of the end game to make sure it works OK now!)
