Aeona

Core Mechanics and Abilities

  • While we want Aeona’s Stagger mechanic to be a central and unique part of her gameplay, we have learned from Season 2 that there needs to be some limits to her ability to manipulate health bars. We have worked hard to find solutions that leave Aeona’s core gameplay intact, while reigning in her power.

  • Aeona has a new passive, [Chronomatic Shell], which reduces all damage she takes by 10% at all times.

  • Aeona’s Base Health has been increased by approximately 5.9%.

  • Aeona’s Health Scaling from Stamina has been increased by approximately 5%.

  • Cloth Armor now provides approximately 26.8% more Armor.

  • A new passive effect, [Converging Timelines], has been added to [Oblivion], [Amend Fate] and [Restore Continuity]

    • [Converging Timelines] causes each of these abilities to grant Aeona +100% Cooldown Acceleration for 0.5 seconds, baseline.

  • [Amend Fate] and [Restore Continuity] no longer cleanse Stagger equal to a percentage of the target player’s max health. They both now cleanse an amount of Stagger based on Aeona’s Intellect.

    • [Amend Fate] and [Restore Continuity] heals targets for 275% of the Stagger amount that was cleansed. The healing can Critically Strike.

  • The healing of [Flash Revision] has been increased substantially.

  • [Echoes of Ruin] now generates 9 Chrona (did not generate Chrona).

  • [Aura of Deferred Fate] takes 30% (was 50%) of all incoming damage to players and instead deals it to them over 15 seconds.

    • [Aura of Deferred Fate] can now hold up to 50% of a player’s maximum health in Stagger. Once this limit is reached, the player takes full damage until the Stagger has been reduced.

GENERAL

New Store Skins

As development continues, we want to give players who enjoy supporting the game an optional way to do so through cosmetics that let them personalize their Heroes, Mounts, and Pets.

We also heard your feedback on our initial store offerings. We understand that not every cosmetic will fit every player’s preferred price point which is why we are expanding our selection with more skins and customization options at a wider range of prices. Our goal is to make supporting Fellowship more accessible to players who want to contribute, while keeping the store completely optional. The game, its progression, and the adventures ahead will always remain the focus.

To everyone who supports Fellowship, whether that is by purchasing cosmetics, playing the game, sharing feedback or talking about it with friends; THANK YOU. Every bit of support helps us continue building the game that we feel so privileged to be able to make.

General Changes

  • We have made improvements to the Bad Luck Protection system for how items are given out.

    • Keep in mind that Dungeons have a limited list of items they can drop. If you are not getting any boots, it is a good idea to check the game finder or Dungeon codex to see if the Dungeon you are running has boots on its drop list.

  • [Quartermaster Novak] is on vacation this season. There is no gear to buy for Supplies in the Stronghold.

Stat Squish

We have adjusted the Stat Squish when players take their high level characters down into low League difficulties.

  • The squish is now based on gear equipped. If you take off gear, you will get less squished. If you take off all gear, you will not get squished in a Contender 1 difficulty even.

  • Allocated Talents have an effect on the squish now.

  • We have tuned the squish to be rather kind, allowing you to keep a bit more Health and Output than expected when playing at that level naturally.

Known Issues

  • We’ve been pushing features in right until the last second. As things have been in flux we’ve not been able to lock in our text as early as we’d like. Much of the new content’s text will therefore, unfortunately be untranslated. Our localization teams are already hard at work on things, so we should hope to add updates to the translation files as we receive them from our partners.

  • Our tooltips cannot always render a 3D model for cosmetics, mounts, or armor in all levels. Occasionally the wrong 3D model will load in the tooltip, or if it fails to load entirely, you’ll see a nice illustration of a Horse.

If you made it this far, congratulations <3 We hope you'll enjoy the update, as well as everything else we have planned! Now go and rest your eyes in preparation for the massive update.

See you in the Stronghold.
