addedFargone has long had an issue with guns feel quite similar whilst also all lacking in the same area which is unless it's a headshot, the weapons don't feel punchy. This is changing with 0.5. The guns have not just been rebalanced but the logic behind damage and impact has been rewritten to make weak guns feel as they should and punchy guns more fun to use. This also adds a better sense of progression when getting a sweet new weapon!
addedWith the earlier announced new AI system, AI can now react properly to taking damage, the new weapon rebalance makes full use of this. Lower caliber weapons may no longer kill undead with an instant headshot due to being much weaker but those well placed shots are still rewarded with the zombie stumbling or falling over as a result. On the flip side the hunting rifle will even when not landing a headshot will still likely knock back an enemy and will also kill in only a few shots due to the nature of the higher calibre rounds. This can be felt across all weapons with each weapon even ones in the same class boasting much different impact stats and effects that determine how hard the enemy is getting hit making gun play more dynamic and fun as well as being far more realistic.
changedTo complement this the weapon movement (sway and bob) system has been rewritten as well to make the guns visually as satisfying to wield as they are to shoot.
addedI would also like to give a special thanks to WinterFX on Discord. Winter reached out to me a few months ago wanting to create some new music for Fargone. Nearly the entire ambient soundscape has been reworked by him and the level of immersion and atmosphere it will be adding to this update is beyond incredible.

Hi everyone,

This is more of a shorter update as I am in full on work mode to get this update done, currently during internal testing this update is feeling extremely good, the most polished and well rounded the game has ever felt by a long shot. With that being said I did not want to leave you all completely in the dark so in this post I will be giving a little info on something I have not yet discussed which is the full rebalance coming with patch 0.5.

This is just another small look into what is shaping up to be the best update by far, release wise I did want to get it out this month and it's very very close but I think first half of April is more realistic to ensure that you guys get the best update possible.
