Tool Modifier: Collision
You can activate Collision Placement in the Modifier Panel, it basically will not place your selected tile if it intersects with the collision shape of another tile. You can turn it of anytime if you want specific tiles to intersect. This has been requested by alot of People. If you have more ideas, feel free to join the Discord Community and let us know!
Tool Modifier: Snap
the snap modifier allows you to snap on the X/Y Axis depending on in which direction your mouse is moving. The snapping starts from the position where your mouse got clicked.
Tool Modifier: Scatter
the Scatter Modifier can be used for all tools and will randomly place tiles in the selected area:
New Features coming to the World Editor:
Random Tile Placer the Random Tile Placer lets you configure a pool of tiles that are randomly placed while you draw. For example: BIOME: GRASSLAND , CATEGORY: VEGETATION , SUBCATEGORY: TREES , then while drawing for each placed tile a random one from the matching filters will be placed.
Pattern Editor/Placement the Pattern Editor allows you to select an area on your Map and save all the tiles in it as a Prefab/Pattern. After that you can select that Pattern in your Tile Inventory and placeit elsewhere, across all your Worlds. You can also upload them to the Steam Workshop!
