Faith in Despair changes
Update 1.0.7 is now live! It includes 21 deities with unique abilities to help you on your journey. This patch also allows creature stacking, adds status effect numbers, and more. Thank you to all beta testers who helped making sure the update is as stable as possible.
Now onto the list of changes:
Additions
Added deity selection where you can unlock deities to be in your deck from the beginning
Added 21 unique modifiers for deities (these are not in the regular lacrima pool)
Added new UI for starting a run, including deity selection (thanks auri, renderpunk, laddwick for additional input)
Added new UI for the main game (thanks to auri, Lyfeu, renderpunk, Jessie81 for their additional input)
Added Deities to Collection (thanks Legendary_Pups)
Added Anubis as a deity for the contest winner maadneet (card illustration by Lyfeu)
Added Undo button: You can now press undo after cards played and after pressing "End Turn" (it costs gold, and cost increases with each use)
Added a deity with an ability to invert buffs (Divert) (thanks Wanderbot)
Added new curses, bosses, blessings, and demons
Added new background for shop
Added status effect numbers directly below the status symbols
Gameplay Adjustments
Creatures can now be stacked on your own lanes (you can play a creature on top of another)
Replaced Charmed with Confusion: Confused creatures attack adjacent creatures randomly, but do not "change allegiance", and you can still move them around.
Immunity on bosses has been changed: Immune to Fracture, Debuffs and Clear Buff, as well as 75% damage reduction. Immunity still wears off after 1, 2, and 3 rounds (depending on the current chapter).
There are now always a minimum of 3 lanes starting chapter 2 (even if there are only two enemies)
Skipping Sacrifice now slightly increases Despair
Summons are now limited to being alive for a maximum of 10 turns, this includes mirrored creatures (thanks Tinraug)
Damage taken is now triggered after damage has been taken (thanks to the anonymous people pointing this out)
Changed Resist so that it reduces 1 stack per resisted Debuff, in addition to reducing 1 per turn. (thanks arifmeticus)
Rest: Repairing your deck is now always an additional 4th option (thanks MeanRev)
Playing endless mode no longer counts as a loss and doesn't interrupt win streak
When an ally card is flipped face down, you can now play a card on top of it
Trigger "Gold gained" now only activates during fights (thanks renderpunk)
You can now sell cards that you just bought in a shop (thanks Legendary_Pups)
Battlelog can now be scrolled
Removed Ambush from the lacrima pool
Endless mode is now no longer available in the demo
When Favor casts Shield, it now triggers "Shielded"
UI/UX Adjustments
You can now hold left stick on a controller in a direction to keep moving the "cursor"
Improved handling of save files (players have reported corrupted save files - this update should help with that)
Improved descriptions for Poison, Parasite, Regen, Charm, Apathy, Resist (thanks MeanRev)
Stores now show whether a lacrima is mastered (thanks Legendary_Pups)
Middle mouse click no longer ends a turn, instead you can play creature cards from hand with it (if there are empty lanes)
Holding down left mouse click on a card for 1.5 seconds or more makes it not be selected when let go (thanks JordanC)
You can now open pause menu in Study/Shop/Sacrifice/Inventory (thanks renderpunk)
Updated localization (thank you to Toyoch, Horace, Mila, NikSynaly, Alejandro)
All card descriptions now end with a period (thanks renderpunk)
End turn description is now always displayed
Fixes
Fixed "Resistance" curse causing round start sequence to feel like it's being interrupted (thanks renderpunk)
Fixed Death crying black tears after you have lost a run and were close to full Despair (thanks Legendary_Pups)
Fixed mirrored cards having the wrong art sometimes (thanks renderpunk)
Fixed softlock when opening battlelog just as a fight ends (thanks renderpunk)
Fixed "damage taken" trigger not working with Exodus sometimes (thanks renderpunk)
Fixed eternal creature being able to be targeted when in hand (thanks renderpunk)
Fixed battlelog not being reset after changing/resetting profile or after starting/ending a run (thanks renderpunk)
Fixed sound panning for various events (thanks renderpunk)
Fixed an edge case where card descriptions would go off screen (thanks Jessie81)
