Additions

  • Added 18 new bosses

  • Added Boss Rush mode as an additional game mode (unlocks after first run): Only 1 chapter, start with lots of gold and lacrima, every map tile has one boss fight

  • Added voice lines by Patrick Lamb for Rest, Shop, Losing/Winning, and all cutscenes (processed by LADDWICK)

  • Added new card background art by Lyfeu for mastered decks (you master a deck if you win a run with 5 atonements)

  • Added secondary effects for all trigger lacrima, i.e. "First Blood" also increases HP by 25%

  • Added new journal layout

  • Added option to right-click on a card to view it in detail (Square/X on controller, long press on touchscreen/mobile)

  • Added new blessing VFX (implemented by JackTheGeneralist)

  • Added new creature hit VFX (implemented by JackTheGeneralist)

Gameplay Adjustments

  • You can now switch through a stack of creature cards on a lane by simple clicking the selected creature again (thanks Jessie81 and edward.w.leo)

  • Gambler: If opposing cards have different dice, all card values are halved

  • Reduced requirements to unlock most deities (thanks Jason300)

  • Increased Attuned to 50%, Lucky to 50%, and Robber to 50% (thanks Jason300)

  • Trigger "Turn Begin" now triggers after all cards have been drawn and all cards have been revealed

  • Elite fights now always have a second special enemy

  • Additional boss fights will now appear in endless mode

  • Bathin now only has 3 lacrima

  • Multiple "Rage" modifiers on a creature now stack (thanks Auri)

  • Added Grandify to simplify certain Blessings (Embiggen, Boundless)

UX/UI Adjustments

  • Added mastery info in Collection > Decks

  • Added info to tell players that a deity will appear when discovered in a run (thanks JakNak)

  • Added info for blessings/lacrima on how to unlock

  • Added gold coin icons to redraw, undo, card preview and other locations instead of "G" (implemented by jaknak)

  • Added info for "Clear cards" and "Drop" buttons in inventory

  • Added "+" icon for when you have more than 5 creatures on a lane stack

  • Added console button hints to shop interface (thanks renderpunk)

  • Added background and icon when creature is healed with Regen

  • The "end turn" button now glows in the first fight in your first ever run when you have put down two creatures

  • The first time you deal damage to your own creatures with a spell, a new tooltip appears

  • The first time you open the map in your first run, there is now an arrow pointing at where to go

  • Removed paginator icons when there is only one page (thanks renderpunk)

  • Redraw also needs to be confirmed now when having confirmations on (thanks renderpunk)

  • Upgrade preview is now hidden if it's not possible to upgrade a card (implemented by jaknak)

  • When a status effect gets added/removed, the icon is now shown in the card event

  • Increased font size in various locations (card details, card descriptions, etc.)

  • Rest: Lacrima upgrade now shows the resulting lacrima value (instead of X + X) (implemented by JakNak)

  • Renamed "Save & Quit" to just "Quit" when you are on the title screen or in the run starter (thanks renderpunk, fixed by JakNak)

  • Renamed "Blessing Triggered" to "Blessed"

  • Renamed "Curse Triggered" to "Cursed"

  • Renamed "Clear Debuffs" to "Exorcize"

  • Renamed "Clear Buffs" to "Cleanse"

  • Renamed "Regeneration" to "Regen"

  • When a creature with Shield or Stoneskin is hit, it plays a shield/stoneskin sound (thanks JackTheGeneralist)

  • Cooldown icon now appears with a bit of an animation

  • Battlelog is no longer cleared as soon as a run is aborted/won/lost

  • Changed all "Whenever" to "When" in descriptions (thanks Skypris)

  • Removed unnecesary "s" for certain descriptions (thanks Skypris)

  • Updated mourn description (thanks Skypris)

  • Save & Quit now returns the player to the main menu instead of closing the game (implemented by JakNak)

Fixes

  • Fixed ClearDebuff being able to remove Immunity (thanks Layla)

  • Fixed Vampyr not triggering Healed trigger (thanks Rixtah)

  • Fixed not being able to upgrade creatures in endless mode (thanks edward.w.leo)

  • Fixed Anubis not leveling up after repairing the cracked ability (thanks to Anonymous who submitted it in-game)

  • Fixed creature stacked trigger not going off when summoning a Demon and stacking it in the process

  • Fixed card in battlelog not having Stoneskin status effect when the card would lose stoneskin after getting hit

  • Fixed softlock when trying to play a creature card while the enemy turn was ongoing (thanks renderpunk)

  • Fixed softlock when clicking the blessings while a fight is transitioning to the reward screen (thanks Elias "aut_Bok" Bauer)

  • Fixed boss being placed on the rightmost lane when only 2 enemies and 5 lanes are on the board (thanks renderpunk)

  • Fixed weird gameover frame where enemies would just get removed instead of being moved out of frame first

  • Fixed End turn trigger not having a description (thanks Auri)

  • Fixed Boundless blessing image being broken on mobile

  • Fixed achievement description for "Et tu": Defeated a boss with a confused enemy

  • Fixed a stray line in the background when starting a run (thanks renderpunk)

  • Fixed being able to press buttons in the background in Options > Controls (thanks renderpunk)

  • Fixed confirmation button not going away in inventory after clicking "Clear Cards" and then clicking on other buttons (fixed by JakNak)

  • Fixed rounding error when having a lacrima value divided by 2 (7 divided by 2 resulted in 3, and 5 divided by 2 also resulted in 3) (fixed by JakNak)

  • Fixed UI element descriptions being misaligned on hover on end game screen (thanks renderpunk)

  • Fixed Steam Deck controls not working while external controller is plugged in (thanks Valve)

  • Fixed hiccup in chapter 1 map music loop (thanks renderpunk)

  • Fixed exile button sometimes not working (thanks renderpunk)

  • Fixed Death still sometimes crying when resetting and starting new run

  • Fixed not being able to go to settings button with controller (thanks renderpunk)
