Fairmoon Museum changes
Art maker here. As mentioned in our last update, I decided to rework our NPC portraits, and now they're all done!
Below are a few examples. Hopefully they look better!
Before I start animating boy clothes, I will be doing a pass over the girl NPC sprites to bring them up to par with the player sprite, since I had done a lot of adjustments when I was animating girl clothes. Clothing animations will probably take around 6 months, so it may be a bit before our next update.

Hey hey, people! (My name is not Sseth.)
Not a lot of exciting game development news since I'm mostly in the writing trenches. Basically 3/4ths done with the library questline then it'll be on to the next one. I think just about the only interesting thing I'll be able to offer up is some numbers!
The word count is up to 136,000 now, which if you like comparing it to novels that's almost as much as The Return of the King. Since it's a very choice-heavy game you won't see most of those though, and speaking of, our player choice count is almost up to 2,800 with less than 10% of the writing done. So that's fun! I think I've said it before, but I am trying very hard to make sure the conversations don't drag on and you're not just reading box after box of NPC diatribes. I want them to feel fun and interactive and every conversation drives how characters feel about you, so they will be impactful as well.
But yeah, that's all! Back to my text cave to hew more quality words from the face of the slab.
