EverRail changes
Hello Everyone!
We've just finished the second part of our Shape The Lore campaign, where our Discord community came up with the names of the three megacorps which have come together to colonize Inara, the moon EverRail is set on. The winners of the votes were:
Auralius Systems By Discord user WarsheepGER
Nordstern By Discord user PixelBandits
Draig Engineering By Discord user PixelBandits
These names will be used in game, and the three corps are now set in history.
The Next Step
The next stage is to decide WHY the colony was founded in the first place. We have three options for you to choose from, and this decision will have long term ramifications on our development! Please join the Discord to take part, and jump into the EverRail section to discuss why you think your choice is the right one.
The choices are:
⛏️ Mining Colony
The Exomoon exists to extract rare and valuable resources.
Deep-core materials. Exotic elements. Fuel compounds impossible to synthesize on Earth.
Infrastructure would prioritize excavation sites, processing facilities, and transport efficiency. Expansion would follow resource veins. Profit would be measured in tonnage.
The rails exist to move wealth.
🧪 Research Colony
The Exomoon is a scientific frontier.
Its environment, geology, and anomalies justify a permanent research presence. Laboratories, observation stations, and experimental facilities would dominate the landscape.
This colony exists to study, test, and discover, pushing the boundaries of physics, biology, and engineering.
The rails connect knowledge.
🏭 Heavy Industry Colony
The Exomoon is a manufacturing powerhouse.
Vast industrial complexes refine materials, construct megastructures, and produce components too dangerous or too large to build on Earth.
Smelters, fabrication plants, and automated assembly lines stretch across the surface.
The rails move production.
