The Hub

The windows you used to open from separate side-menu buttons now live in one overlay: Character, Skill Tree, Map, Workshop, Chat, Help, and Settings. It behaves the same in combat, in the lobby, and on the main menu, so you learn it once.

  • Open it with Esc, the hub button, or a letter key (C for Character, G for Skill Tree, H for Help, M for Map).

  • The Character tab keeps your abilities and inventory in one place. Drag an ability onto your bar to equip it, or click to add it.

  • The Workshop tab brings salvage, forging, and inventory together. It appears when you are near Addie in the campaign, and any time you are in the lobby.

  • Your inventory and relic panels now stay on the combat HUD instead of sitting behind a menu.

  • Buttons light up when you hover them, and the End Turn button icon is fixed.

Playing with just the mouse

Most of the hub work is about reach. Whatever you need should be a click or two away instead of buried under a key you have to know about.

  • The tutorial now asks how you want to move the camera before it begins, so mouse-only players are not forced onto WASD.

  • The map, your abilities, inventory, skill tree, and salvage are all reachable by clicking through the hub or the minimap.

Groundwork for controller support

  • We rebuilt input on Unity's Input System with proper action maps. Controllers are not playable yet, but this is the layer they connect to, and it made keyboard and mouse handling more consistent on the way.

Fixes

  • Fixed a movement bug where your position could drift apart between the host and other players.

  • Esc no longer gets eaten by the side menu.

  • Fixed the Character list showing only one ability.

  • Map panning, icon sizes, and minimap clicks now behave correctly.

  • Targeting fixes.

  • Tweaks to Pebble Pouch, Sporeshroud Planting, and Cryostasis, plus a fix for abilities that re-seed when a creature respawns.

  • Updates to Baron Valdris, Spawn of Corruption, and the Archer.

  • Removed a leftover "not your turn" banner.

  • The tutorial now walks you through the hub.
