Empires Edge changes
I just felt like adding it. This camera mode does not affect gameplay or provide any gameplay advantage, but I thought it would be a nice way to freshen up the usual view and let players watch the island’s development simulation from a different perspective.
Development is moving forward, and here are some of the recent changes and improvements:
The waterside farm now produces food 20% faster
UI and UX improvements are currently in progress
Added resource gathering animations above buildings
Reworked the Outpost construction logic and island capture system
Added visible projectiles for attacking units
Resource gathering speed is now balanced separately for each resource type, making the overall balance more flexible
When recruiting an army, units now leave the barracks and move around the island. When attacking another island, they enter the portal
The currently selected island is now highlighted with a frame
Invasions are now displayed on the minimap
Fixed mission restart
Expanded upgrade descriptions in tooltips with clearer stat details
Tooltips now show the reason why construction or recruitment is unavailable
