Survivors,

We've been hard at work pushing out updates, and with our latest patch we just released, it's time for a recap of everything we've added and improved! As we shift focus to developing more content, here’s a look at the highlights from our recent updates:

Gameplay & Balance Tweaks

Character Balance & Upgrades:

  • Marksman remains the top single-target damage dealer but now has more AOE upgrade options.

  • Samurai saw minor nerfs and upgrade adjustments to support varied playstyles.

  • Robot was heavily nerfed (he was way too OP).

  • Biomancer received slight buffs but still focuses on supporting and buffing allies rather than raw damage.

Secondary Weapon Overhaul:

Unique max-rank upgrades have been reduced to one per weapon. The more interesting ones have been turned into Modules or integrated into earlier upgrades.

Reworked Toxic Horror Boss Fight:

The randomly moving poison clouds have been removed. Instead, a single large cloud will slowly fill the entire arena. The cloud resets only when all minions enter their shield state, making the boss vulnerable to damage. This change prevents players from getting stuck in an unwinnable state, dragging the fight out unnecessarily. If you don’t have enough DPS or speed, the cloud will ensure a quicker failure rather than wasting minutes in a hopeless battle.

New Content & Features

  • 5 New Modules

  • Task Markers

Helpful arrows and map markers have been added to the Robot unlock quest, making progression clearer.

  • More Detailed Damage Stats

Now in the inventory screen, this detailed breakdown of damage will let you track how well your build is performing.

UI & Quality of Life Improvements

  • Updated NPC Menus:

Garret's character upgrade screen and Oliver's upgrade tree viewer have been updated for better controller navigation.

  • Tooltip Refinements:

Improved placement so tooltips don’t block buttons or get covered by the cursor.

New Analytics Tools

Players will now be prompted to opt-in to anonymous data collection, which will help us fine-tune balance and progression. No personal info—just gameplay stats like death locations, level progression, and upgrade usage. This will be a huge help in shaping the game’s future!

Bug Fixes & More

Countless bug fixes and optimizations to improve stability and performance.

With this wave of updates out, we’re now shifting focus toward developing new content! Thanks for playing, and as always, we appreciate your feedback and support.

See you in the void!
