Eldritch Escape changes
Hey survivors!
We’re excited to announce that Eldritch Escape is taking part in Bullet Heaven Festival 3.0! To mark the occasion, we’ve carved open the belly of the beast and packed our free demo with fresh updates, new content, and plenty of writhing surprises! All available right now!
We know things have been a bit quiet lately. Eldritch Escape is built by just two people, both juggling day jobs and real life, but we’ve never stopped working on this passion project of ours. The last couple of months have seen huge progress, and today we get to share a small slice of that with you!
New Content Arrives!
Enter the Black Goat’s Domain
The mysterious region sealed behind the green eldritch veil is now fully "fleshed" out.
New enemies
New Consumable Item
And our most brutal, twisted boss fight yet! If you dare… step beyond the wall.
Hub Updates & New NPCs
📜 The Bounty Board
A brand-new meta progression system! It automatically tracks long-term milestones—distance traveled, damage dealt, levels gained—and rewards you with bonus Solidite. More reward types (skins, modules, maybe even characters!) will come in the full release.
🍺 The Bar Is Now Open
Meet the new bartender and check detailed stats from your previous runs. See what worked, what didn’t, and plan your next expedition with confidence.
🔧 Elias’ Tinkering
Elias is here to tease a progression system that will only be available in the full release. You’ll be able to bring back one module per run for him to study. Pay him, and he’ll teach you how to repair that module in future runs, raising the minimum rarity it can drop at.
⚔️ Meet Kira, the Neon Ninja
Another tease for the full release. Kira is a future playable character with plenty of attitude. For now, you can find her in town… with a broken weapon and strong opinions.
Balance Updates & More!
More optimizations, bugs squashed, and void anomalies stabilized than we can count. The game now runs smoother across more hardware… including the Steam Deck! My personal preferred way of playing.
We’ve added fresh modules and upgrades while tuning difficulty across the board. Whether you’re returning or diving in for the first time, we hope you enjoy all the improvements. If you don't, we want to hear why and how we can improve. If you give the new demo a try, please send us your thoughts through the in-game feedback tool.
See you in the void…and may it show you just enough mercy to survive your next run.
