We're happy to announce that sign-ups for Eldritch Escape’s first public Steam Playtest are now officially open!

The playtest will run from May 22 to May 29, 2025, giving players a full week to descend into the void, experiment with squad builds, extract valuable loot, and survive against endless eldritch horrors.

Eldritch Escape is a Lovecraftian Extraction Bullet Heaven where Earth has already been consumed by an ancient god. Form a squad of survivors, explore decaying worlds trapped within the void, fight through relentless hordes, manage your oxygen supply, and search for a way out before the void claims you forever.

  • Squad Building - Choose three survivors from a growing roster, combine their abilities, and promote a leader to unlock powerful squad-wide effects.

  • Extraction Gameplay - Push deeper into the void for better loot, or retreat before losing everything. If you die, your dropped loot remains behind until you recover it.

  • Secondary Weapons - Discover unique weapons during expeditions that evolve your strategy and dramatically alter your playstyle.

  • Modules & Buildcrafting - Equip modules of different rarities to customize your stats, synergies, and combat approach.

  • Settlement Growth - Expand your settlement to unlock vendors, upgrades, tasks, and new progression opportunities between runs.

  • Hand-Crafted Worlds - Explore uniquely designed worlds filled with NPCs, hidden areas, bosses, vendors, and ancient places of power.
