EDU SIMULATOR v1.1.6 IS LIVE NOW ON STEAM! 🎉 EDU SIMULATOR is receiving a small update focused on aim controls settings we got requested by some players, a couple of bug fixes and some tweaks to certain perks.

addedAim sensitivity slidersAdded separate aim sensitivity sliders for mouse and controller . You can find them in the Options menu and in the in-game pause menu.
fixedODM-GearFixed a rare crash that could happen when you exited a floor by grappling straight to the frame of the open exit door. Whether it triggered depended on your exact perk loadout and speed boosts, which is why it is kinda hard to pin down. (We hope this failsafes all the cases now.)
fixedODM-GearFixed the grapple line and the reeling sound occasionally hanging around after you exited a floor in multiplayer.
removedODM-GearODM-Gear can no longer be aimed or fired while spectating after you die or exit in multiplayer. The prompt and grapple visuals no longer show up when the ability would do nothing.

EDU SIMULATOR is receiving a small update focused on aim controls settings we got requested by some players, a couple of bug fixes and some tweaks to certain perks.

QUALITY OF LIFE

Aim sensitivity sliders

  • Added separate aim sensitivity sliders for mouse and controller. You can find them in the Options menu and in the in-game pause menu.

  • The pause menu only shows the slider for the device you are actually using right now.

BUGFIXES

ODM-Gear

  • Fixed a rare crash that could happen when you exited a floor by grappling straight to the frame of the open exit door. Whether it triggered depended on your exact perk loadout and speed boosts, which is why it is kinda hard to pin down. (We hope this failsafes all the cases now.)

BALANCE CHANGES

LET ME OUT

  • Reworked the speed boost falloff. It now holds near its peak while you sprint toward the exit from a distance and only drops off sharply as you reach the gate, instead of fading evenly the whole way in.

  • Increased its activation range: now 40m at base (up from 32m) and +12m per level (up from +8m).

  • Rebalanced the speed bonus to +20% at base and +15% per level, paired with the smoother, longer-lasting falloff above.

  • It now also grants a flat +15% movement speed whenever the exit doors are open, on top of the approach bonus above.

DEEP THINKING

  • NEW EFFECT: while the sight boost is active, once your extended vision reaches the nearest power button, its aura is revealed. This reveal has its own 60s cooldown. You still get the full vision boost while it is on cooldown, but no aura is revealed until it refreshes.

PINEAPPLE PIZZA

  • Lowered the unlock requirement from 48m to 32m of window aura range reached in a single run.
