BALANCE CHANGES
BACKROOMS ALGORITHM AND AURA
Last iteration of the backrooms was basically a tactical 1v1 against EL EDU in most of the cases at late-game, that made figuring a correct pathing extremely difficult and sometimes frustrating for certain builds that don't rely on extreme speeds. We're making a whole revamp of them:
All quadrants now have transitions between each other. Still always a window vault!
THE EXIT: grid room based quadrant, the two doors are always enclosed in this quadrant.
THE GALLERY: grid room based quadrant, all posters are collapsed in this quadrant.
THE MAIN HALL: a few big rooms with no inner walls will be found in this quadrant
THE RING: a ring corridor that encloses a box with a mini-maze with windows inside.
Transition between quadrants is now ALWAYS a window vault.
Passive vault speed bonus at backrooms: 45% -> 20%
Passive vault speed reduction on EL EDU at backrooms: 45% -> 25%
BUGFIXES
Grabbing a TESTAMENT while having TRIANGLE STRATEGY converged into losing the TRIANGLE STRATEGY stacks, the bonus stacks are now queued up for next round when picking a TESTAMENT.
Multiplayer runs that ended up in playing solo will not post scores to the leaderboard anymore.
KNOWN ISSUES
While playing MULTIPLAYER, if the hosts disconnects, the game doesn't re-host and the entities stops responding, in a future we would like the game to be able to re-host on the go in a simple and seamless way, but it might require some analysis before refactoring things. As a temporary measure instead the game will now kick everyone if the host disconnects.
