BALANCE CHANGES

PERKS

[TESTAMENT] CHARITY We're gradually adjusting the flat mspd top-up perks accordingly to cost-reward.

  • MSPD per unique perk: 0.05 -> 0.09

POCKET TIME Same as above but considering pocket time has a condition to be fulfilled, we're tweaking it up a bit from the bottom and moving that ugly uneven number.

  • BASE SPEED: 0.1 -> 0.11

  • FLAT SIGHT per LEVEL: 2.6 -> 2.5

  • FLAT SPEED per LEVEL: 0.03 -> 0.05

AUXILIARY CAPACITOR The concept is great, but it's cost-effectiveness by level is making it a third-hand option.

  • BASE CHARGES: 30 -> 45

  • CHARGES PER LEVEL: 2.5 -> 5

  • DRAIN RATE CAP: 5x -> 7x

RAFAEL Rafael has been behaving inconsistently and somehow because of bad luck feels punishing to play with. Flightless bird.

  • REROLLS CAP: 3 -> 5

  • CARRY OVER PER LEVEL: 2 -> 1

BACKROOMS ALGORITHM AND AURA

The fact that vaulting is slowly becoming a thing again is kinda cool but still, that it became a MANDATORY filter in your build to survive post floor-10 is a bit too harsh on the current state of the game, we're tackling it with a slightly different concept. 1.1.3

  • all inner-rooms in the backrooms are required to have at least 2 doors, making them incredibly open (and perfectly suitable for a LOOPING THE ROOMS proc)

  • Transition between quadrants is now ALWAYS a window vault.

1.1.4

  • Passive vault speed bonus at backrooms: 15% -> 45%

  • Passive vault speed reduction on EL EDU at backrooms: 25% -> 45%

BUGFIXES

  • Collecting a poster for the first time in multiplayer would grant it on your collection but would not fire the proper Steam achievement, this was unintended behavior, posters found for the first time in multiplayer will not go to your collection.

  • To everyone affected by this bug, 1.1.4 will retroactively grant you the missing achievements on first run.

  • BLACKOUT tip window was showing an incorrectly backrooms thumbnail instead of stealthed EDU.

  • MARATHON countdown beep sound volume has been tweaked down.

  • Pressing the R key in multiplayer lobby would make the scene to reload.

  • We added an extra layer of sync for certain aspects of multiplayer. (Please report bugs if you find things!)

  • Tip window showed CLOSE in the buttom prompt regardless of the chosen language.

  • CURSED STAR debuff was able to put you in NEGATIVE SPEEDS. not anymore.
