We’ll continue to tweak the controls, but we wanted you to have access to it as as soon as possible. We currently support the XBox One and PS4 controllers! Please try it out and let us know what you think. We’ve also added a new area with a finale to the story, complete with 2 new monsters! Finish the final siege in the Valley to gain access to it. We hope you enjoy this update! As always, thanks for playing!

FEATURES

CONTROLLER SUPPORT - FIRST PASS

  • We've added Controller Support to the game! This is a first pass, and we are supporting XBox One and PS4 controllers specifically in this patch.

  • For now, you cannot rebind controller mappings.

FINALE - FIRST PASS

  • Added the first pass of the Finale to the game!

  • The finale is still being tweaked internally, but we wanted you to have (early) access to it. :)

  • Complete the last siege in the Valley to be directed to the final zone.

NEW MONSTERS

  • Added the Thulians to the game. These fierce creatures are native to Eden and extremely territorial. Those found in the wild have equipped themselves against hostile invaders both past and present.

  • Added the boss to the finale (no spoilers ;) )!

MISC.

  • Continued tweaking ranged weapons and adding VFX.

FIXES AND ADJUSTMENTS

  • Fixed an issue where controls were stuck if 2 " 3 panels" are showed up at the same time.

  • Fixed an issue where auto-advance didn't work on achievements that appear after the beginning set if the player had completed those achievements before.

  • Fixed an issue where when one player received Sulfur Corrosion or Radiation in multiplayer, other players in the world could get it, too.

  • Fixed an issue where if you're already in your own World and then use Steam's "Join Game" feature to Join a Friend, the game froze.

  • Fixed an issue where while at the "Play Sieges" Crucible Sieges Menu, attempting to access another Menu caused the MC's controls to lock up.

  • Fixed an issue where the gear icon was not updating on the character screen when changing gear.

  • Fixed an issue where the Siege Menu didn't display the nanochips rewarded in the other difficulties if the links had already been restored.

  • Fixed the starting mana on turrets.

  • Fixed an issue where upon placing a Defense Item, there was a ~5s delay before it began firing.

  • Fixed an issue where some monsters did not have collision with the player.

  • Fixed an issue where upon joining a Host's Multiplayer Game at the "Crucible Sieges" Tutorial step, players were still required to complete the "Placing Turrets" Tutorial step.

  • Fixed an issue where the hit impact vfx and sounds always played late.

  • Fixed an issue where upon getting Banned, trying to join again caused the banned player's Main Menu to become blank.

  • Fixed an issue where the result screen after winning an outpost was not accurate.

  • Fixed an issue where some Trees and Gear in the Forge Equipment didn't properly show their Upgrade "+" (Plus).

  • Fixed an issue where the placement model for the ballista was not transparent.

  • Fixed an issue where the advanced ballistas had the wrong blueprints.

  • Fixed an issue where it says "Continue" in the Main Menu, even after deleting all 3 Profiles.

  • Fixed an issue where, in the Valley Cave's Outpost Base, Lane A wasn't showing.

  • Fixed various stuck bugs.
