Echoes of Sin: Confusion changes
Hi everyone,
Update 0.95 is here, and this is a big one.
First of all: **the new trailer is now out!**
The game will release in 6 days, on **June 9, 2026 at 10:00 GMT+2**.
The game is currently being tested by more than 20 people, and so far there are no major known bugs left. A lot of the recent work has been focused on polishing the overall experience, improving readability, and making the game feel better to play from start to finish.
Difficulty and Anomaly Tuning
Based on player feedback, the difficulty has received a major tuning pass.
The main level is quite large for an anomaly game, and it contains a lot of small details. Because of that, I wanted to make sure the game feels enjoyable and tense rather than frustrating.
Over 70% of the anomalies have been adjusted to make them easier to notice. The goal is no longer to force players to search for tiny, almost invisible changes. Instead, the game should reward proper exploration. If you carefully check each room, you should be able to notice when something is wrong.
Player Character Overhaul
The player character and first-person movement have also been completely overhauled.
This includes a new bone structure, new walking and running animations, better sound synchronization, improved flashlight handling, crouch synchronization, and a much better overall first-person feel.
Main Changes:
