Earth vs Mars changes
Earth vs Mars now delivers a fully playable handheld experience with optimized performance and intuitive controls across campaign, multiplayer, and all game modes. Today's update also includes three new Splice-O-Tron creatures, two new high-stakes game modes, and all-new Commander passive abilities. To celebrate, Earth vs Mars is available now with a 40% discount on Steam, our biggest discount to date!

New Creatures in the 1.2.0 Update
New Splice-O-Tron Creatures
Three new creatures expand the Splice-O-Tron roster, unlocking fresh hybrid unit combinations and expanding the creative and strategic depth of unit splicing!
Red Panda – Cute, but ferocious, this creature strikes fear in its enemies
Ability: Ferocious Bellow – Let out a roar, pushing back all enemy units nearby
Passive Ability: Indefatigable - Attacking an enemy unit restores a small amount of health
Scorpion – Defensive creature with snapping claws and a vicious sting
Ability: Pinning Attack – Strikes a single adjacent target, pinning them in place
Passive Ability: Acid Strike - Attacking a unit places an Acid Pool under the target, damaging enemy units that start their turn on the tile
Beaver - An amphibious, defensive creature focused on terrain control and battlefield disruption.
Ability: Build Dam – Builds a dam, blocking movement through the target tile for 2 turns
Passive Ability: Wet Fur - Starting a turn on a water tile increases defense until the start of your next turn. Walks on water
New Commander Passives
Commanders gain access to nine new passive abilities, each encouraging distinct playstyles and long-term strategic planning across campaigns and modes.

Raises the difficulty across the entire campaign, where mission failure means the end of your run. Spliced creatures must also be wary of permadeath
