Alright - time for a new update again! The main highlight is the improved toolbar. During development we got accustomed to using the top row of backpack as the toolbar. It saved some space in the inventory screen but it was quirky. Your feedback triggered the change to move to a dedicated toolbar which is now available in the update.
There's also an alternative quickswap control: Press dpad down and use stick. This is not enabled by default to avoid confusing people so you need to enable it in the options.
This is a large change, so please report any bugs with the new toolbar with F1 again - there might be still some even though we tried to be very careful and meticulous.
Quality of Life & Accessibility
New tool slots for better quick swap
Alternative gamepad quick swap: hold dpad down + right stick
Added zoom in/out (+/- on keyboard, RUN+right stick while stationary)
Color blind mode added
Healing and stamina potions now use fx instead of animations — instant effect, no more standing around!
Lowered initial fishing duration by ~33%.
Yellow overlay on buildables when you can't afford the cost
Autosaving after receiving/spending quest items or keys
Combat & Balance
Cultists with potions use them less often and heal less
Doubled Spire HP (they collapsed too quickly with higher tier weapons)
Stamina regen no longer blocked while running in combat (might revisit this later, but at the moment this is the setting).
Healing/Stamina potion stack size from 10 to 5, raised crafting costs
Tweaked shambler drops for more Boundless Dust
All shambler loot now drops to the ground — no loot interaction needed
Building
2 new roof pieces added to Building Construction — unlocks retroactively
Lowered level requirement and cost for Fortification Construction
Upgrade recipes now require Silver Ingots instead of Silver Ore (and we seeded more Silver Ore into the world)
Multiplayer
Fixed players sometimes spawning in wrong positions
Seed planting animation now plays correctly for clients
Exit doors in Ananke now open properly after defeating the All-Seeing Lord
Various other multiplayer sync fixes
Fixes & Polish
Zombies can no longer kill you through windows in the intro house. That was rude.
Fixed DOF causing visual artefacts on screen edges

We're already working on the next update which will focus on the building experience among some other things.
A word about branches: You can test the latest stuff by switching to the staging or preview branch. They include the latest fixes and improvements - but may also contain new bugs.
Preview - The very latest stuff, not much testing yet.
Staging - Somewhat tested and moving towards default branch.
