Greetings Commanders,

I'm excited to announce the release of Dynasty Protocol v0.3.0, which introduces new strategic depth to fleet management and combat operations.

New Ship Classes

This update expands your tactical options with five specialized vessels:

  • Supply Vessel - Keep your fleet operational in the field by providing oxygen and hydrogen resupply without returning to base

  • Repair Vessel - Conduct field repairs on damaged ships, maintaining combat readiness during extended operations

  • Scout - Fast reconnaissance vessel designed for intelligence gathering missions

  • Recon Vessel - Reveals fog of war and extends your visibility range across sectors

  • Phantom Recon Vessel - Stealth-capable vessel for gathering intelligence deep in enemy territory

New Systems

  • Automatic Shield Activation - Ships now intelligently activate their shields when hull integrity drops below 50%

  • Field Resupply & Repair - Reduced dependency on station docking with new Support and Repair vessel capabilities

  • Standby Positions - Ships automatically return to their pre-combat positions after engagements, maintaining formation integrity

Combat Improvements

  • Enhanced AI combat behavior with improved tactical decision-making

  • Refined AI movement patterns for better positioning during engagements

  • Modified station repair mechanics - stations now cannot be repaired while under attack or when enemy vessels are in the sector

  • Improved emergency indicator system for better resource management feedback

  • Enhanced ship status bar visibility during combat situations

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved vessel construction timing inconsistencies

  • Fixed the issue preventing ship name changes

  • Corrected missing images when loading saved games

These additions significantly expand your strategic options during both offensive and defensive operations. The new support vessels allow for sustained deep-space campaigns, while the reconnaissance options provide better intelligence gathering capabilities.

As always, your feedback is invaluable. Please share your thoughts and experiences with the new features on our Discord server or in the Steam discussions.

Thank you for your continued support!
