Adaptive AI Enemy System

This is the headline feature. The enemy AI now reads your behavior and adjusts its strategy accordingly. Play aggressively and push early, and the AI will respond with aggression of its own. Focus too much on capturing colonies while leaving your own planets thinly defended, and it will hit those weak spots with sudden raids. The goal is to make every match feel different depending on the decisions you make. No more predictable patterns.

Expanded Tutorial

The tutorial now covers areas that were previously left to you to figure out on your own:

  • Technology development steps

  • Tactical Pause feature

  • Spacecraft Lab

  • Trade Menu

  • Colony capture mechanics

I also rebuilt the underlying tutorial system so steps display more reliably and flow better.

Outpost Friendly Fire Protection

Outposts no longer take friendly fire damage while engaging enemy cargo ships. You can now take down enemy logistics near your outposts without hurting your own infrastructure.

Fleet & Combat Improvements

  • Multiple selection for cargo ships

  • Filter option in the Ships Selection Menu

  • Clearer enemy recognition through updated UI

  • Heavier class ships have been resized for better visual impact

  • Fleet Menu improvements

  • Spawn gathering info window for non-focused planets

Bug Fixes

A big round of fixes this time, including:

  • Tech Research timing and completion issues after loading saved games

  • Station Upgrade research freeze

  • Fleet Commander mission not triggering

  • AI resource consumption and Super Weapon rollback issues

  • Station controls, menu visibility, and sensors after destruction or repair

  • Captured Ancient Vessels returning to the home planet instead of staying at their current location

  • Player cargo ships continuing to build after AI captures the colony
